The food in Spain is just amazing. My mother took me to the southern coast when I was 12, and I have loved Spain ever since. I was surprised back in the 1970s & 80s how delicious and underrated Spanish cuisine was. Everyone I knew back then talked about Italian food and French food, but very few people back then talked about Spanish food. Things are different now of course, but fifty years ago the cuisine of Spain was all but ignored. However, Spain has the best ham in the world, and the best fresh seafood in all of Europe in my opinion, and I am Sicilian and Swedish, two of the finest seafood cultures on earth. Where Spain lacks a little in my opinion is in its cheeses. There are some good ones, but its nothing like France or Germany.

Love the videos but I should not be watching these when I cannot eat any solid food until after a test I have tomorrow.

No, it is more of a type of seasoning and not a sauce based...I love both!

@Woltersworld: 🌏 Your right, however..... most people might consider Paella, as a being part of Portuguese Cuisine, because; there are some native Portuguese Folks, who are of Portuguese/ Italiano, French, and Spanish, heritage and this probably, why some restaurants are referring to Paella, as being a part of OR, being a Portuguese Dish. Understand, that Portugal, (borders) Italy, France, and Spain. 🌏 Historical Facts: It was not uncommon for marriages/sexual relationships between these neighboring countries, (Portugal, Italy, France, and Spain) to form in what is known as (Old World Europe!) 🌏 I know my History...... I know people......... @Woltersworld, You're 🌏 looking for (PURE) Portuguese Cuisine and Dishes, that was not influence by it's (neighboring countries)..... Well.... It will be hard to find it considering the fact that it's not even there. @Woltersworld, 🌏 Portuguese, Cuisine/ People, goes way back to (Old World Europe) and Portugal's Cuisine was inspired by it's 🌏 (Neighboring Countries) as well as it's own country's creativity and ideas. Paella, can be made in some Portuguese Families and is considered to be a staple in Portuguese Communities. So, (PURE) Cuisine or Culture, in most people's minds is somewhat fictional and is not always factual. 🌏 I know my history and I know people.
