  My hair is extremely fine so I can’t wear my hair in an Afro because it would look see through. All I can do is a puff or a bun & omggggg the amount of products I would have to use to get my hair to slick done. I’m so done. I’m translating to relax hair and im staying relaxed!!!

  Just relaxed my hair last week after 30 years natural🌸 I’m so happy at age 51 to not have to worry about my hair, it looks beautiful and stays beautiful everyday all day🎉 Also relaxing my hair does not make me less black or less 🖤conscious, I eat 1 meal a day.. fast for 3 days once a month, pray daily and still live an upright sister girl life 🌸

  Silk element products are so bomb 😍!!! I only tried the silk elements heat protectant spray and the edge tamer. I tried the leave in conditioner spray on my daughter's hair , and it left her hair super soft! Now I'm convinced to try this conditioner that you are reviewing here!

  @@RaveenCierreaI absolutely will get my hands on it this weekend 😍 and Yesss that silk elements heat protectant I have used for years, will always be in my staple. The olive oil heat protectant one of the silk elements is my favorite, although I use the coconut version sometimes.

  Yes you make a good point on trims. Back in the day, my in the 80's when i was a lil girl, i remember the adults around me saying that clipping your ends more frequently makes your hair grow faster. Which is exactly what was done to my hair! I had long hair as a child, past my shoulders, and it was considered long by most, but I can now imagine how long it could have been if my hair was only trimmed at least just twice a year at the most!

  Great info Raveen, I just wanted to share that I have been using the acidic bonding pre treatment, It is the TRUTH, not only does it strengthen my hair, it significantly decreases tangles like no other, this is hands down the best bond, detangling, product I've ever used. I purchased the travel size first, but I will get the full size next. My relaxed hair seems to look very similar to yours, so I wanted to share. It also allows me to stretch a bit longer due to the detangling properties this stuff has. This is definitely worth trying. Your hair is beautiful by the way.

  There's no wsy you needed that much trimmed off, and it sucks that she tried you like that. It's definitely hard to find someone who's not scissor happy. One of the things that I love about ny stylist at Ulta is that she's not like that, and I always tell her to take off what needs to go, and she always keeps it super minimal. 💜
