I am not objectifying her, and I am aware that women do not exist for the primary benefit of the male gaze, but from the very first moment of seeing this woman on Workin' Moms years ago, I have been uncontrollably riveted to the sight of her. The details of her comingle into a synergy of grace and sultry beauty. I feel ashamed that I noticed these things before I noticed that she is an excellent actor. It should have been the other way around, but I have six million years of evolution demanding that I not take my eyes off her, even for an instant, and she is quite distracting.

I could listen to this man talk for hours. 1991, president of the jury would be amazing! He's been to Cannes 6 times! Wow. He said it can be lonely, and only 2014 is when he's now had two other Canadian filmmaker to be there, and it makes it special. I hope to be another on that list one day!

*Question from MP* : What were the rules that allowed In Flames to be made? *Answer* : In Flames was part of our 2020 Talent to Watch cohort. You can find past and current guidelines for the Talent to Watch program here: telefilm.ca/en/programmes/talent-to-watch-program

*Question from Global Noir* : In Flames is a great TTW successful story. However the rules that allowed a film like it to be made have now changed, making it almost impossible for something to be made at that budget level. Curious to find out why the rules were further complicated ie CAVCO inclusion etc? Is there a problem with immigrant stories being made in their home countries? Are these not 'Canadian' enough? *Answer* : Hi there! It’s possible to submit a Talent to Watch project as a coproduction. The project must either be certified by CAVCO *or* recognized as a treaty coproduction. You can find past and current guidelines for the Talent to Watch program here: telefilm.ca/en/programmes/talent-to-watch-program You can find more about the coproduction recognition necessary for the Talent to Watch program here: telefilm.ca/en/programmes/coproduction-submission-recommendations In addition, here is more information on our coproduction treaties and memorandums of understanding: telefilm.ca/en/we-finance-and-support/coproductions/international-treaties-and-memorandums-of-understanding

*Question from Natalia Escobar* : What feedback have you gotten from producers and other stakeholders regarding changes to the development program as a result of the Pan-Canadian Consultation? How are you evaluating the changes made? *Answer* : Hi! *Question from MP* : Instead of setting a number of marginalized creators you want to support, why isn't the approach to cap the amount of white creators to say 10% until equity is reached? *Answer* : Telefilm bases its benchmarks on the results from our Self-Identification Questionnaires. Telefilm has also created an internal data collection committee, whose priority objective is to optimize the use of the new data collected, helping to better structure the decision-making process and achieve a more equitable portfolio. You can find out more about data collection here: telefilm.ca/en/who-we-are/our-engagement/equity-diversity-and-inclusion/data-collection
