What hike did yall do? I’m looking for less rocky trails bc my husky feet hurt last time. This one looks nice!
Two years later an I'm here watching with my fiance. We are planning a backing packing trip in July. So thank you for the tips an great hiking trip.
DAMN SO YOU WENT TO OHIO WITHOUT A CAR
Your trip to Iriomote was actually not a fail at all. It was beautiful and perfect with its imperfections. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing the experience. I am heading to Zion end of February and I'm super excited. Hoping for little to no crowds and beautiful experiences.
about to hit this trail, but kind of afraid of the habu, good to know there are mongooses out there! thanks
The island is completely ruined. There is no 'LAST FRONTIER OF JAPAN' anymore. Road construction....building construction sites for large scale buildings etc....classical, for Asians....ruining there landscape, in an unmisforgiving way.....sad....but true - DON'T EVER VISIT JAPAN. NOT OKINAWA - NOT IRIOMOTE. You will be dissapointed....it will cost you a lot of anger and money
He did so well ! Also beautiful views (:
such a good hiker boy :) thank you!
Cougars are the animal I most concerned about bumping into in the Cascades. Black bears, unless the bear is hurt or you are between a mom and her cubs, it will probably just leave you alone. Bull elks during rut are real high on my "keep your distance" list. You didn't say if the ramen was any good. My "daughter", Yuki, found a few ramen shops she liked when she was here attending college. She is sadly back living in Japan.
for sure! it was such good ramen we loved it!
❤
omg thank you :)
"we technically got to see it last night but u guys got to see it this morning" ?? lol i had to rewind twice and still didnt see it :P
Nice- he seems happy w the trails. With the ridiculous heat in vegas this summer, me and my one year old blue heeler (Sydney) camped and hiked practically every weekend up there- you guys were by Flethcher Trail, it's great for dogs, lotta shade and pretty flat. We hiked every trail except the peaks, I started him slow w Mary Jane, Cathedral Rock, etc then moved up to Trail Canyon (5 mile) and N. Loop to Rain Tree (7 miles)...that's about his limit at the moment, had to prod n pick him up a few times the last mile lol. Mt Charleston is great- thanks for the Vid
Nice video and cool first backpacking trip! We moved to Las Vegas last year, haven't been to Great Basin NP yet but I think that's going to change soon!
People who don't play yu gi oh:😃 People who play yu gi oh :😭
Have you ever heard of Bob Wells from vanlife living? He has a great channel with lots of nomad info and interviews people who live in a variety of vehicles fulltime. Might be with checking out for interesting tips and tricks.
I’m driving to Vegas from Ohio for the first time just was seeing how it was before I went thank you!
oh awesome! Good luck!
Going end of February I’m so excited ❤❤
Thanks for the ghost town tips. Will add them to my Nevada trip in June of 2023.
have fun!
Last summer I drove from Ontario, Canada to Nevada and took me about 8 days. I sorta took my time. This year I will be driving from Dayton, Ohio to Elko Nevada (family there) and want to get there as fast as possible to spend more time in Nevada. Good to know it can be done in 3 days. Thanks for the video.
we're doing the trip again too!
it is very sad that some historical places are abandoned. whereas in mainland japan, historical places must be well preserved.. those places are very important for okinawa
This is so neat! Your adventures are so great to see.
it was such a blast! thanks for watching :)
How much did you guys spend on gas
New sub ! Liked 🤭👍✌️✌️🔥
New sub ! Liked 🤩😆🔥
It was a doozy for sure! Never underestimate a long hike, that's for sure
I've really learned a lot about waste less and reusing items in my home, jars & plastics. Thank you. Would love to know more about vegan living. Been really thinking about healthy foods, and not eating meats. I love vegetables, but have DIAGNOSED with MS ( so challenging ). But I'm thankful to be alive. Blessings to you and Dan. Thanks for sharing your story.
check out my main channel @ The Simple Environmentalist :)
thank you! sending blessings to you too!
what are was your hotel located?
Great video, and I like the background music too! It's a well-produced introduction to this area! I'm curious about the drive to the trailhead. I've read it is a rough(ish) dirt road and some 18+ miles long, but do-able with slow driving. I only have a Toyota Corolla. Thoughts?
Is this in the pineapple park area?? We’re heading to Okinawa next Thursday!
Great advice! Very excited to be going this week with the permit system!
is the ammo can still up there ?
Great video as always! Definitely get your migraines checked out if you haven’t previously, I’m from the UK so I know the healthcare system is different but look after yourself😊 My mum woke up with headaches every morning and it ended up being something serious but she thought it was just her eyesight and needing stronger glasses. Loved this video, so many beautiful scenes.
Thank you for sharing! My husband and I are prepping for a six month road trip in the states through the national parks and this was on our list to do! Now I know about the lottery system!! Enjoy your content and tips!!
Ahh looks so fun (maybe a bit of type 2 fun haha)! I love the bits of stories along with your adventures~
thanks for the information!
Nice video, nicely elaborated and took some great shots like one at 5:35
thank you! some lovely shots :)
Beautiful scenery and companion 🐶 is gorgeous.😇🥾🎥🙌🏻
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
So beautiful trail, video is brilliant. This video deserves to have a lot more views definitely.🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love these videos! Commenting because the KZread algorithm needs to boost these!!
Aww thank you that means a lot!!
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I've been to the cabin twice and all of the prominent peaks in southern Nevada EXCEPT Hayford. It has eluded me for many years. Planning to get the job done this April. Thanks again for sharing, especially the info on the last two miles to the summit.
Thanks! It is a super cool cabin. Hope you enjoy Hayford :)
Looks like a beautifull hike. Thank you very much for sharing. Best wishes, Mario
It was so lovely! Thanks, mario!
Glad you were safe. Hated that I was so far away and I couldn’t help you. Love the sunrise videos and love your tradition! ❤️🎉❤️🎉
Thanks! Very glad as well
Great tradition, I will try to implement it next year! Thank you for sharing! You deserved at least a hug in that situation, makes you lose faith in humanity a little bit when people don't bother to help when it's so obviously needed
a super special tradition :) yeah it was super frustrating
Nice video friend.
Thanks :)
Paradise
it's so lovely!
Incredible scenery!
Thanks, Steve!
Is this house for airnbnb?
yes!!
We went to Death Valley during the summer one year and it was 123 degrees.
That's insane! We wanna go back this summer just to see the intensity haha!
"Subaru almost didn't make it" Lies! Bluebaru just didn't want to embarrass the Jeep is all. He is very polite.
Yes, yes he is hahaha
