Hoxxes is a shot-for-shot remake/spoof/raging parody of Syama Pedersen's Astartes using the characters from Deep Rock Galactic.
All modelling, texturing, rendering, compositing, etc, is done in Blender - which is a free opensource 3d software - if you'd like to learn more you can download it here: www.blender.org/download/

Where you got these dwarf models?
I've pulled them from the game using Gildor's UE viewer and a Blender psk extraction software. It won't give you materials, though, so I had to make them in Substance painter (not that I'm complaining) The alternative is to download the models from Thingiverse, and then rig them. It gives you less variety and there's a touch more work to do, but it's a good workaround if you can't get UE viewer or PSK extract working

@@ArtemiyS_ Hey - sorry you're having issues with it. Sadly I don't have the time to make a tutorial, and I really dislike the sound of my own voice (much as that may surprise some people I work with) In any case, using Blender you can't extract the materials. The good news is that some total hero has added pretty much every DRG model in a downloadable and cross-compatible format on thingiverse: www.thingiverse.com/thing:4366139 It's possible to download them and then rig them in Blender (that's what I did) There's possibly a way to extract the skeletons and meshes at the same time, but that's only useful if you're an Unreal Engine user. I don't use Unreal at time of writing, so I don't think I'd be able to advise you on that. Let me know how you get on, thanks for getting back in touch!

Hey thanks! The sound was really tricky, particularly splicing the music so you can't tell it's been cut in places (some of it more successful than others) I also *suck* at the sound part and had to bodge it together a lot, so I really appreciate the compliment

I'm slowing production down a bit to tweak some of the quality - I've not been fully happy with the animation etc so it'll probably be six (ish) months before the next one. I'm working on some other projects in the meantime - I'll put them out via the community channel.

The menace never did the most damage, being able to tank 3-4 shots easily while you’re lining up a shot to stun. They’re still dangerous because they just don’t stop
