At one part you titled Shahriar Kabir as a freedom fighter and then as a filmmaker. Actually you don’t have any idea of what he did during the Liberation War of 1971. He used to supply poultry to the Paki Army for the dinner. He was also a collaborator of the Pakistani army. Either you are funded by the present Bangladesh govt. or the so called Atheist, Secular, Islamophobe community who are also funded by the West.

Your documentary is flawed and biased towards a distorted history. You should have shown the other side of the coin. This is a Pro Bangladesh Awami League funded documentary.

Is it possible for anyone in the entire Indian subcontinent, let alone the outsiders, to go through with this abomination? Some one has to be blamed. It’s the Hindu decay. Centuries of invasions left both Hindus and Muslims left intellectually ill-equipped. There has never been an intellectual life. There is no equivalent of Thomas Hobbes and John Locke. None of these men appeared because there has never been the presence of intellectual soil. Men had ceased to be men. In this land of war and famine, men are reduced to being scavengers. They form the elites. Elites? Degenerates representing scavengers.

It has been clear to me for years already that it is Petra originally. But, if you want to make religious Muslims to understand this, you can't make this statement (as Western European male, like myself) without pointing out the same kind of mistakes in the origins of Christianity first.

  • @Gurbejong

Let alone the last statement of "what would it mean to Muslims" when they find out. What would it mean to Christians when they find out what has actually happened? Needs to be said as well....

I read about this unique practice of these hanging coffins many, many years ago, but does not remember the reasons behind this practice. Without watching this post to the end, the most logical reason that comes to mind is that parts of China are prone to devastating annual flooding and, instead of burying their dead in the ground which would be inundated by annual floods, the Bo people put their dead high up on cliffs to keep them dry. Also, it's symbolic of being closer to the heavens and one more reason is that it would not be easy for tomb robbers to rob these coffins.

Really a very informative documentary presenting correct facts. The interviews also help us to learn more and analyze. However, the role of Dhaka University students and professors could be described more as it was the intellectual center of this Freedom movement. The way these students and Professors sacrificed their lives, many were killed, brings tears to our eyes as well, and acts as a continuous inspiration also. It would be better if a separate documentary could be made on the history of Dhaka University, especially its role in the Freedom Movement of Bangladesh.

That is the difference between India 🇮🇳 and Pakistan 🇵🇰.In India 🇮🇳 eventhough we Hindus 🕉 are united by our religion🕉 but the language will and always remains deep pride of every people and the government of India 🇮🇳 truly respects it that is why in our currency our every state language is given their position and every state has been given right to practice their language with their freedom.Jai Hind 🇮🇳.Jai Bharath🚩.

This story is really close with our story,,, our grand used to narrate a story about how our people were massacre by our enemy we called that place as Sialkal tâng (where our tribemen lived),,, the story goes like "one fine day when our grand3 parents celebrate AWL LEN (festival ) that they dance and drink at late night the enemy took the chance and kill almost all the villager only few of our tribemen survived from that attack"

Just reading everyone’s comments. Why argue over a video? Is it really that important that this one or that one knows more. I’m not innocent by no means but the older I get, I take a step back and the comments seem silly. Like children arguing over which candy tastes better. They’re all good and we need to do better.
