Shea butter trick is actually bad to if you’re going to say that you don’t want scents to clash but also fragrances are based off of alcohol and oil so if you’re saying the Shea butter would be an oil that could clash with the fragrance
Just using an unscented lotion will be good you want a barrier from your skin and the cologne to reduce heat to maximize longevity of the fragrance but you also need to hydrate your body with water and lotion to make sure your skin isn’t dry
Next spray on more than just 2-3 sprays if it’s a strong fragrance spray on 5 max depending on the situation and if it’s weak like Versace pour Homme then spray like 10-14 max depending on the situation
But wearing a sweet smelling lotion with a spicy musky cologne won’t matter because the lotion isn’t built to project as much as the fragrance it’s built to smell good but moisturize and wear a fragrance for yourself first not just for others have a date night fragrance but also have fragrances you like and embrace uniqueness don’t smell like everyone else all the time

I try to preach getting a quality soap a good cologne and dudes whine and complain about the prices. Quality doesn’t necessarily mean expensive but you do get what you pay for. And women do recognize certain high end fragrance brands by smell and the bottle like Creed, Bond No. 9 or Tom Ford. If you search you can find high end fragrances on sale and go to stores and just ask for samples to see what you like and what goes well on you.

Bruh I never use cologne and almost never get alot of compliments about my smell. Other than the obvious (deodorant, 1st and 2nd wash) I just use B&BW Body cream

You can do it after a shower as long as you cleanse twice you can do a face wash with in the sink
Solid video! I actually didn't realize exfoliation helped with bacteria buildup! Just be careful with the silicone exfoliating pads for two reasons. The deep ones can be harder to clean and hold water for too long and end up a mildewy mess. This applies to all silicone products you don't keep thoroughly clean and dry after each use (especially if you have a silicone mat in your tub). The second reason to be careful is that we tend to get a little rough with things that seem too gentle on our skin because we think abrasion is more helpful than what it is. Don't try to scrub your skin off every time you get in the bathtub, especially not your face, armpits, or intimate areas! Anywhere where your skin is thin and/or where you have mucous membranes should generally be treated with care that you (should) be using for your face otherwise you can end up with major skin irritation.
Black men, keep in mind that excess tension and continuous tension will take your hair out. Excess maintenance or extreme retwists of locs will take your hair out. Going to people who braid your hair so tightly that you end up with soreness will take your hair out. I beg to differ on locs. If you want a fresh look, locs are simply nto the style because of the excessive maintenance issue. They will get frizzy, they will have flyaways. These are usually not captured on camera or simply get edited out by filters, so people end up finding out the hard way that there's generally a lot of frizz associated with locs. For some people, newgrowth will grow into each loc, but with many, newgrowth will just do whatever it wants and cross over into other locs. It's definitely a great hairstyle that is highly individualistic, but I just want you to be aware that it can get a little crazier than you anticipate. Especially those who are very used to having fresh do's have a rude awakening once they get locked because it's a complete 180 from what they wanted. Do not get locs if you want your hair to be under complete control at most times!

Absolutely do NOT rub after spraying cologne. Different fragrances come out over the effective time of the cologne. By rubbing, you’re mixing all the top, mid, and base notes together and it’s a fundamentally different smell that’s not the intended experience. I would suggest just moisturizing then applying to that area.

Your skin, easily absorbs lotion, while your skin is slower to absorb a Shea butter, so it acts as a seal locking in moisture and keeping your skin hydrated This routine is also great for people with dry skin
