Growing up, I played in 3 AAU teams. I went from never playing basketball in 8th grade and being placed as a center once I got to high school, to being an elite player and starting point guard as a sophomore. What helped me the most with becoming shifty was one hour of jump rope every day. Obviously continue the fundamentals, shooting and foot work drills. But jump roping one hour a day will take your game to the next level.

L take, no handcheck is better, dud literally doing a offensive foul on u putting his hand on u when u have ur hands up. Handchecking is stupid, a hand that’s there, just to be swipe

You cannot push a player or touch : force a player off his momentum. Get y’all fat ass in the gym and do some lateral slides . Beat the offensive player to the spot

Honestly iv been doing that's since college and had no idea about Pet or KY. Still nothing new under the sun, except they don't let us play defense anymore and it's OK to carry and travel.

That's Peyton Prichard...he's in the league now. I agree with you that you should incorporate dribbling drills that involve moving your feet. This is foundational for beginners and intermediate players imo. There's a time and place for everything. Just my opinion
