Did the road both ways at the weekend. It is indeed a good ride, with good clean tarmac. I continued cross the A5 heading to Denbigh, another great road a little less challenging.

The road surface on this B road is better than any A, B road or pavement in Cardiff City centre "pothole" capital of Wales.....
@bigapple2054 күн бұрын
Technically you were outside of the national park at the beginning of your video but further along the B4407 at the turning for Penmachno you were inside it. Anyone visiting please watch out for sheep as they do roam free and often lie on the roads over the moors hence the cattle grids.. and hitting one at 80 would be quite messy.

Good video, enjoyed that. Was up through there yesterday on the bike but couldn't linger as had to get to Aberystwyth. A couple of months has certainly made a big difference to the vegetation - everything is a lot greener and you can't see through some of the corners like you could (also some fabulous banks of bluebells). Defo visor down - bugs everywhere! I didn't know about the car park and toilets over the top dam - and didn't cross it - useful info. There's a 'green lane' goes off round one of the reservoirs from one of these carparks... Is it from that top carpark? Have subscribed. M.
