  Duff is a ass-kikin' player. although he does use a pick.....like always, but he does come up with some tasty&melodic lines. Even genious in some situations!! Way better than Nikki Sixx imo.

  It seems crazy to have to double the basslines with an acoustic bass to get a good bass sound. Maybe it was just one or two songs for a specific sound.

  HEY, HEY, i was TOTALLY WRONG about the Waters Signature P-Bass ......it does not have block inlays on the fret positions...he has Indicator dots. Sorry.

  BTW, sorry to interrupt you but Waters (who literally dosent play a single not on that album uses a Funeral Black Fender Precision Bass with a maple fingerboard and ebony block inlays. Google ROGER WATERS SIGNATURE P-bass.

  David Gilmore played all the bass tracks on "Wish You Were Here". Roger is a generationl talent and top flight songwriter but he sucks pretty bad on an instrument. Now before I get piled on by all if the music theory, Pink Floyd gatekeepers, Roger even admits casually that he dosent play but maybe 5 songs in the catalogs.

  Interesting. He tuned BEAD down a fourth but played very guitaristic, lots of chords and effects.

  Friend, the tunings are wrong, they are: Drop B: B F# B E Drop A: A E A D Scissors and music IOWA: F# F# B E Slipknot never used Standard tunings and always Drop tunings Remember, this is not a criticism of the video, it is just a correction of the facts. Congratulations on the work Paul

  Negative. Duff used a gain, chorus tube crunch and noise gate/noise filter. He sounded almost nothing like this.
