I totally agree with @lynnritchie231 You reach a certain age or have enough life experiences to realise you just have to be yourself and ignore any pressures society or other people try to impose on you 💪

This was great. However, I have very weak wrists to hold me during mountain climbers and push-ups. Any advice?
Absolutely listen to your body and modify whenever you need to! To decrease the pressure on your wrists, you can complete both exercises raised from the floor by leaning on yoga blocks, a step, a sturdy table, or even a wall. Lots of options to do what feels best for you!

I just found this at 6 months pp. I overused my abs after birth as within a week I was walking my son to school pushing a pram (the birth was a C-section). I was in so much pain and still have some pain now but I'm hoping to regain some strength doing this daily! It was gentle enough to do but hard enough that I felt it.
Congrats on the new addition to your family! We are so sorry for the pain and discomfort you've experienced! We'd recommend seeing a physical therapist, especially one who specializes in pelvic floor health, for any medical care or treatment that you may need, as Diastasis Recti is very common in this season and beyond.

Is Pilates and Yoga same?
Great question! Pilates and yoga are often confused with each other, but they're very different. Pilates and yoga are two different forms of exercise and Pilates did not stem from yoga. Pilates also does not have any spiritual roots like yoga as Pilates is purely a form of physical exercise designed to improve overall health. A great resource is Episode 34, of the Well to the Core podcast called Common Misconceptions about Pilates (lindywell.com/episode34/). In this episode, Robin shares a lot more about Pilates and how the mind-body connection aspect of Pilates is very different from the spiritual connection in yoga.

I am so proud of myself! Just finished the 30 day challenge. I had a few extra rest days in the middle as my back had a few days of spasm (long standing issue) but I eased myself back in with some gentle stretches and finished the challenge. Definitely feel stronger than when I started and will aim to keep going with ten mins a day. Thank you so much!

I think it is important to include the contraction of the diaphragm given that you stress breathing as an integral part of pelvic floor awareness and activation. Your coaching pelvic floor lift on the inhalation, while the diaphragm contraction is counteracting and negative to that instruction. Therefore, I think it is essential to include the main mechanism of respiration in the context of the instructional.
