yo can you help me please my spotify doesnt sound as loud as it used to. i even reinstalled it but it didnt help
Yeah brother, I would follow the steps I talked about in this video. It should definitely help with that! Make sure you test it on multiple devices. Could just be your speaker or headphones or whatever you are listening on. Its worth checking everything!
bruh ur so underrated
Thank you my brother!! Much Love. <3
Great and informative video!
Thanks for watching brother!
Promote is the hardest step. And can be very expensive.
So far I have managed to not spend a dime on promotion, I think creating content for free is a great way to promote without paying! Certainly paid promotion could work for certain people in certain scenarios, but in today's age there is no need to pay if you don't want to!!
Thanks so much man. I never knew why but spotify felt like the music was always off in some way I even switched to deezer and it souded so much better but I have spotify premium so I switched back and you saved me <3
Hey I'm glad I was able to help! I really felt like something was off with my Spotify and when I saw these settings I knew I had to let people know!!
Great video Sam. Thanks
Thanks so much for watching!!😊
Great video Thanks
Spot on recommendations! I'd match your choices exactly.
Much love yo!🙏
Do you have any recommendations for someone with only an iPhone and iPad, who isn't recording studio-level anything, just hoping to do some decent-sounding vocal covers/virtual karaoke, but could maybe translate to doing local live gigs down the line? So far, my research has me looking at the Scarlett Solo or 2i2 interface (3rd or 4th gen), a Shure SM57/SM58 or Audio-Technica AT2020 mic, the Apple USB 3 camera adapter (for connecting the interface to a Lightning port), and whatever other accessories I might need (stand, pop filter, cables, etc). Am I on the right track?
You are definitely on the right track! The most important thing to do is assess what your end goal is and to get gear to help you towards that goal. Starting with just your phone is a perfect idea, and if you decide making music isn't for you then no harm no foul. If you want to upgrade a bit then the gear you just listed is a perfect place to start, and was exactly where I started too! SM58 is better for live vocals then an SM57. Also I have a volt 276 and an Iphone 15 pro and they interface with no issues. Just plug and play. Just thought I'd mention that! I hope this helps at least a little, and I wish you the best!!😊
I would recommend the 2i2, because it has two multipurpose inputs (XLR/instrument). It is a little more than the Solo, but you might want that flexibility later on.
Hey man, glad to see youre now recieving products from companies!!
Haha me too!
I love America - me too!
yo bro check ur timers - not accurate cheers
Apple Music users, the best settings for you are on this short here: kzread.infoQdL8pvCO0SI
Spotify Users, watch my short for Spotify's best settings here: kzread.inforWc7HQ9GgFo
Apple Music is like Linux ,while its better the competitor has more support for some reason
KZread Music in the corner 🗿
Im coming for KZread Music next...
use late night for EQ, trust🙏
You think my wifi can support high quality audio?
Btw you cant lossless audio is incompatible with bluetooth audio.
Great video and excellent editing! I didn't even need the information, I'm pretty sure it was just in my recommendation from watching microphone reviews, but I stayed for purely entertainment
Yo thanks brother! I really appreciate your comment. Made my day! Much love.
Personally I couldn’t tell the difference between lossless and regular high quality for Spotify, it use to have an audio difference but it’s the same now
Because this dude is wrong. High res lossless is for when you connect your phone to a speaker through a DAC. For using your phone speakers or Bluetooth headphones just use lossless
Most of the world uses Spotify and it’s better
spotify is literally worse in almost every way
@@ShadyHero you play minecraft and all those other shit games so i dont have to bother to say anything W
@@TC_ReflexYT ur just mad you have to spend 800+ dollars a year for the new fifa, madden, nba 2k, mlb, fifa, wwe, nhl, f1, and cod game every year. dont say anything about games i like being bad when the 'games' you like havent changed since 2008
how though apple music is cheaper has karaoke mode/tracked lyrics simpler, non cluttered ui lossless if you have proper hardware spotify is too expensive when youre only getting 128kbps especially
@@fin_tf2 yes! this is literally what im saying, i used to use spotify and i havent looked back even once.
best setting for apple music #1uninstall #2 install spotify
I’m using Apple Music free trial and I’m broke do I still have to do this
@@MrFinkyDoodles I mean ur choice tho Spotify is easily superior enjoy the free trial first tho
@@IronEyes-pz6kv its not “easily superior” i guarantee you cant name 2 reasons that actually matter very much, they both work well its just whichever you use first
@@IronEyes-pz6kvhow though apple music is cheaper has karaoke mode/tracked lyrics simpler, non cluttered ui lossless if you have proper hardware spotify is too expensive when youre only getting 128kbps especially
You can change the quality of the audio on Spotify, it’s in the accessibility settings
Not the same thing as lossless audio
@@thisisntgoingwell Technically yes, but the difference is pretty small and not anything normal people would/ could notice
This is awesome! Thanks for the tips, works well.
I gotchu fam🙏
I don’t have to pay for Apple Music 🤷♂️
Thank you!!!
🙏❤️
I do this. Only problem is you can only hear it in proper high res lossless with an external audio system that can handle the quality. 😅
Lol YES, gonna need more than just the Iphone speakers haha
This video is a masterpiece
Ayy much love brother😊🙏
m50x headphones getting recommended for making music in 2024 should be illegal
I prefer the Shure SM58 over 57 and I'm pretty sure they ran over a 58 but otherwise a great video. I agree with the Scarlet Solo and the Audio Technica ATH-MX50 (tho I prefer the 40). So thanks. Also can you make a BandLab vs. GarageBand. (I like BandLab but I would be interested in seeing a comparison vid.
I noticed that was a 58 also
Great video! 😍
Hello Mr. Sam. I hope you are well. I visited your KZread channel and found your videos to be very good. But I see you are not getting good results compared to your efforts. I can help you with this. I am waiting for your reply.
I edged to this
I recommended the scarlet and sm57 to a singer songwriter writer friend a while back and when I was running him through how it works I was even surprised at the tone we were able to achieve with such a simple setup. We didn’t even use a mic stand. For headphones we went with the classic Sony mdr 7506.
Good video man stay strong and keep uploading for 6months. You’re gon get 100k subs.
Thanks brother! I hope so😊
Nice vid!
❤️❤️
A laptop , a rode mic and MPC software 🤯 . the sound engine in mpc software is so strong that it’s like a digital interface built into it and pushes out a super high quality sound . The plugin that comes with it is all you need you can auto tune , soft clip , etc you can do so much it has any effect you can think off even make your song sound a vintage record player sound effortless. I never saw anyone use it , I have a full studio with pro tools , mpc x , fl studio, reasons 13 , Logic Pro , mpc key 61 . I was on vacation and had nothing but my laptop and I met this girl who can sing , I recorded her on mpc software and the raw vocals sounded almost mastered after the track was done 🤯🤯🤯
Great video! Quick and to the point.
Thanks Will!! :)
I can't watch your channel. You're a wretched Ableton user! Lol, your videos are great I'm going to figure out how to apply this to my beats in FL Studio. Thanks.
Lmao thanks brother. Maybe one day I will hope into FL studio and try a mix in there... FL is pretty sweet ngl
personally i'd get the audient id4 instead of the scarlet solo
I haven't actually used any audient gear before, the id4 looks dope tho!🔥
@@Samwimer thats fair, i wouldnt recommend something i didnt try out either, the id4 has lower self noise and better mic preamps than the scarlet solo i’v had both, they’r still both great audio interfaces tho cant go wrong with either
Hey man Ive gotten started on making music in garageband on my phone and want to produce on pc what daws do you recommend for me since im used to the garageband layout but dont have a macbook.
Logic Pro on iPad is pretty great
First off, thats dope. Thats exactly how I got started too! I'm not too familiar of any DAWs on PC that emulate garageband unfortunately, but most DAWs have a free-trial you could do and see if you like the work flow. Ableton has a great free trial and I believe FL studio does too. Both work great on PC. If you do get a mac at some point though logic is the obvious next step up. It is just garageband on steroids! Best of luck my man!
ur videos are actually amazing ur underrated asf
Thank you so much, I truly appreciate that🙏 :)
I really enjoy the 276. I’ve been trying to get some new things recorded and it gets you so so close to a finished sound in a much simpler way.
I really like it too! Ive been using it for some podcast recording and its solid and just does what its supposed to really well. I agree its much closer to a finished sound^^
@@Samwimer just subscribed. I’ll check your stuff out! My question is this, would you change the focusrite for the 276 in your “starting a home studio” video? Speaking of Focusrite. I dig the ‘air’ mode on the newer Scarlett stuff but there’s something about that 610 tone on the volt that I prefer.
this is sooo useful!!! pd: I still remember those twitch streams :)
GREG!!!! The OG, hope you are doing well my guy. Thanks for watching brother :)
I like your videos and your style. This make a song in 24 hours still feels very out of reach for me, you already know so much and start off at such a high level. What if you made another video where you assume someone knows nothing about music? Could you strip the process back to its most basic form?
Shiny thanks so much for your comment! This is really great feedback. I definitely have plans to explain the basics in greater detail with my content in the near future. Thanks for watching and I hope my future videos will be helpful to you!
Great video!
Yoo thanks so much for watching!!
