Best explanation I've seen so far. I especially liked your explanation of how to save paint ( paint is very expensive after all) and the different sprayer tip sizes. Will be purchasing this unit soon.

Here's a quick and simple solution to get the best results: (1) use a top quality commercial-grade poly, and (2) spray finish it with a quality HPLV spray system like the Fuji Spray System. Save time and get showroom quality results without all of the hassles.

And on that note, a high gloss finish makes most furniture look tacky/ daggy, imo, and you can't beat a nice satin finish.

m dying to see it use on 1/4 insted of 1 gallon paint container. I have small project and only use about 1/4 of a gallon. I dont want an HVLP,. also dont want that expensive Graco quickshot. tell me , can I? What if i cut the suction and primer tube down to where i can just put the quarter can under the muchine and dip the tube straight in? What if i get a shorter blue hose?

Circular saw would be the best combination of cheapest/ easiest. To make it really clean, buy a long straight edge and some clamps too, but you COULD freehand follow a drawn on line with the circular saw. Clamp the straight edge to the butcher block, taking into account the offset of the edge of the circular saw to the blade. Then go for it!

@@freckledspeckled5406 I want to take the clean approach. so ill look into a straight edge and clamps. thank you!

@JujocoCS you could totally get just a metal meter stick or the like. And the clamps don’t have to be fancy. Good luck!

Thanks for the vid. I've put 4 coats of polyurethane on a small table top I have built. The second coat was basically perfect looking, but I was afraid it wasn't enough so I sanded with 220 grit which was really a mistake. After the third coat I basically sanded it off with a brown paper towel on a square type electric sander. I have the fourth coat on now. It looks pretty good although I can see some brush marks in it. It's not been sanded yet and I'm wondering what grit of sandpaper I should use?

The only good thing about this jig, is that you can use it the other way around to support the actual drawer box and kind of perfectly align the drawer slide before screwing (the part that is not shown in this video). Other than that, is just another crap of jig Kreg has done in my opinion, because you still have to measure twice, one per side, and mark where the slide needs to be placed, and if you have multiple drawers, the whole thing ends up in a huge mess, I guarantee!!! Anyways, great work man!

Thank you for your video. Very helpful. Have you tried the green FFLP tips with a blue guards? They are low pressure fine finish tips that are better for the cabinets, use less paints and need less pressure making them last longer. Your point on cleaning times and amount of paint lost by using this is very accurate. But that is the price to pay to put the hose directly into the paint bucket instead of using a small container on the sprayer. Thank you for the tips to save paint.

I have two of them and they have way outlasted what I thought they would have lasted for. A great tip when using these is to put the pickup tube in a 5 gallon paint strainer and tape it up high on the hose. This acts as a pre-filter before it goes into the pump. I do this because the only filter on this sprayers is in the spray gun.
