If you beat it without the mimic you’re better than most. I can’t beat this fight without the mimic tear. So you gotta be pretty good.

Fun fact: the game is not that hard if u dont greed the hits and actually learn from your mistakes. People that cant pass this have an actual skill issue

I managed to dodge it by rolling forward to your left, then rolling to your right, then rolling forward. The timing is very tight, but it's doable. The problem is that the attack startup is Radahn not moving for a sec, which you might confuse it with his normal stance. That attack is just bullshit, gets even worse in the 2nd phase.

Ironically, the VFX being bare bones and not over the top makes it look so much more powerful than most of the the other magic systems I've seen in other games.

The regular ogres (not the grim ogres that already prefer men) can be deceived into assuming a male arisen/pawn is female if he is wearing feminine looking armor like a dress or skirt, making them salivate. Upon grabbing and getting a closer look at him, it immediately recoils and becomes enraged.

To be completely honest. I never even had an interest in this game, but this video is the reason why I bought it. And the only reason why I should buy this game. Not the magic, not the monster hunting, just the absolute chad energy you have while wielding this thing. And as a sword enthusiast, I'm more than extatic to see a Greatsword done so well in a game. It's perfectly beefy as it is while not making it comically big or slow. Like... It's a perfect balance. It's a huge and unwieldly piece of metal we all love. And the impact. Dear God, the feel of these things are insane. Warrior is here to absolutely flatten every single mf crossing your path and this clip shows it the best: 1:13 You're here to make one statement "Yes, I'm just a human. But I'm going to show you what that means."

I didn't realize Ogres liked female characters. I thought I was safe from Ogres then since my Arisen was male...I didn't know the older ones had different "interests" 😅🤣

Oh, I think I also remember something about enraging an ogre by playing a male character, putting on female armor and letting the ogre pick you up and slobber you, only to find out your character is male. Back in the original DD, there were some clothing and armor items that were female only - including a disguise dress. Wonder if it still works...

If you see a Griffin in the sky, you can discard a gem (Onyx, Jasper, or Tigereye) on the ground to lure it down.
