You know what’s even funnier, the fact that Ben Shapiro original plan for the film was to have it as a documentary where the actors would pretend to be girls and then dominant as biological men in the woman’s league, but then they realized they can’t easily do that so that made up a fake scenario in which this couldn’t happen if the real world without the actual precautions these organizations take. They are literally making a problem out of a nothing burger to promote hateful agenda

Her changing of the future killed at least an helicopter pilot and some policemen. I think she saved three girls and killed at least five innocent men in doing so. I know that that makes a difference because men are officially disposable but... maybe a little bit of self reflection or awareness... She doesn't even know that the girls maybe are important in the future. She just doesn't care. Even the grumpy asshole in "Groundhog day" saw the consequences of His actions and tried to safe all people. In Terminator II the "good" killer robot was forced to care about other civilians and not to kill innocent people. Madame Web doesn't care.

I’m currently watching my favourite film in the franchise the lost world There’s no way the T-Rex killed the crew There was a was a hand on the cruise steering wheel And the room was clearly intact No way for the massive T-Rex to get in and kill that crewmember member When I was younger, I always thought it was a velociraptor Plus the T-Rex was clearly inside the cargo ship What did the T-Rex lock itself back into the cargo department 😂 after killing the crew After doing some research, there was a lot of deleted scenes Now that I’m older, I found it very strange as soon as they captured the T-Rex the next scene is the cargo ship crashing into the docs They had to be a deleted scene in between that happened Way too rushed Pteranadons is possible too As I don’t think the velociraptors would’ve took a dip in the ocean 😂

Oppenheimer is basically a defense of communism & a criticism of the military industrial complex. It's weird that people act like it's some antidote to divisive political movies. It's one of the most overtly political big movies of the last few years.

Some people have been recently been saying that the next JW movie should be requel ( a sequel that is the real sequel to the previous film ). But it makes the JW Dominion versions we got in their own sperate timeline/ continuity. Just like the Halloween franchise sequels from the late 80s and 90s.

I liked 'Dial' more than Skull. It repeated some things from 'Kingdom' (warehouse with a hidden artifact, young person connected to Indy shows up tracked by an agent, sitting with Indy in a bar, showing a picture. There's even a protest, a banner, and later a chasing car is blocked by a narrow passage), but 'Dial' used these tropes in a more down-to-Earth, believable way. I needed some time to start to enjoy 'Kingdom' - I didn't like the blurry image, the over-the-top scale and main elements basically repeated from Indy3 (letter instead of the diary, Indy trying to save Mac just like Elsa - he even uses a similar line - btw, many lines from the 3rd appear here; the clue brings them to the tomb of the last person who looked for Grail/Akator. In Oxley's cell he goes up to see the pattern on the floor, just like the 'X marks the spot'. In the corridors under the cemetary (great location!) the shot of wind blowing through the webs was exactly like the first trap in 'Crusade'. it ends with a huge cavalcade of vehicles going to the final location. When villains join them in that final chamber, Indy made the same grimace like in Indy3 - very similar shot). I didn't have that problem with 'Dial' - I enjoyed it immediately. The prologue was obviously one big love letter to Indy3, but the rest was really fun. Having read all the bad predictions, I was prepared for sth terrible, but instead - I loved it. The underwater stuff (inspired by the Fate of Atlantis), horse riding during the parade - that's classic Indy, and it's less crazy than the fridge of lifeboat falling from the plane and later from the cliff. And the fact that there really is an Antykithera mechanism is a cherry on top. One big mistake - why were there no date tags like before? 'New York 1969', for instance - that's essential for these movies. And sure it had problems - too many chaotic fights, repeated scenes. But it was good. I bought the DVD and've watched it several times already.

I don’t understand how anyone could say that Dial of Destiny was better than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. At least in Crystal Skull, we got to see Indy still doing action scenes and throwing some serious punches, even if they made him come across more like a superhero. And he is the actual main character of the movie. He doesn’t get sidelined or treated like trash for the majority of the movie by new unlikable characters. And he gets a deserved happy ending with Marion and Mutt. And as for “woke”, when most people say it, they mean that clearly Disney created a character like Helena who’s clearly supposed to replace Indy because only “strong and capable” female characters are better than Indy because he’s just an old, white man. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull feels more like an Indiana Jones than this piece of crap!!

The only reason I watched it was it came out on Disney+, and I get that for free through my cell phone provider. Otherwise, I would not have paid to see it. I was, however, surprised that it was better than I thought it would be. But I don't have the desire to rewatch, though, b/c it lacks that "rewatchable" factor the first three have. Especially Raiders.

Actually - Dial took some of stuff from Atlantis - the comic book, especially. the underwater scene (diver underwater sees the second boat approaching, air hose gets cut off - this was in the game, too). Artifact hidden on the shelves. Indy gets shot in the same place like in the comic, he's even wearing a similar pyjama while recuperating. And the fake name Schmidt is German version of Smith.

I finally decided to watch this film last week, having boycotted it since release. I enjoyed it more than Crystal Skull, which was a shocker. It felt very artificial to me though. Like it was put together in a lab or something. My favourite character (get this) was Helena! I know, I'm baffled and really have to watch the film again before I understand that. Your points all seem very valid. The first time I watch a film though I don't analyse it, I experience it, feel it. If the film is enjoyable enough to rewatch, then I'll analyse it. Did I enjoy Dial of Destiny enough to rewatch though...? I'm kind of on the fence there. I did see Crystal Skull 6 times before I decided I hated it though, so I should factor that into my thinking.
