In the first second of the clip, the spacer is being used wrong, that's why it fell over. They should be horizontal and used in pairs. Nothing wrong with those, used them yesterday and they were great! Didn't tape them to the wall either, haha.

This is why I just don't like it when two different circuits can go into a same box. An amateur will tie ALL the neutral together and, thus, create a shared neutral.

Your saw is bogging down because you removed the riving knife and the board is pinching the blade. The blade is also higher than it needs to be which will exaggerate the problem. Together, that's a dangerous way to make a cut and greatly increases the chance of a kick-back

I am dealing with this *exact* problem right now...a "deck tub" installed where a normal tub should be, and not waterproofed. Unfortunately I need to keep the tub, can't do a shower conversion, so I am reverse-engineering the waterproof layers with Kerdi System. I believe there was a correct way to install that tub that would have prevented the water intrusion etc. and I am about to find out! Edit: mine is upstairs and shower was never used without a 360deg shower curtain, so I don't have the rot issues thankfully.

Your various systems of measuring difficult cuts with tile and with this composite deck are brilliant. I am a Licensed General Contractor, and very few trade specialists have developed systems of measuring awkward, complex cuts as you have! Also, your organization of the projects you do is really well done. Possibly, the biggest failure of Construction Project Managers is not staging the project in a logical, well-thought-out, step-by-step manner. A highly competent construction manager is a little bit of a prophet or seer. They have the ability to look ahead and "foresee" how the project will be built in the future. You have this ability!
