    Directional twin setup for the wrong stance will tune your butters up quick.

    It's pretty good. Hardwearing jacket for sure. Worth the money! Though definitely not as 'light' as some other shell jackets. A pretty heavy duty coat!

    How was the boots?

  • @danielm4849
    @danielm48493 жыл бұрын

    Yeah man, excellent. I really dig them. Though my only gripe is that to get 100% heel hold, you need to crank them really tight, which makes them feel quite stiff and does bunch the neoprene sleeve over the foot a little. This is because they're super padded though, so if you're thinking about a pair, I'd size down half a size from your regular shoe. At the start of the day, they're absolutely perfect. As the foam starts to pack out, though, you will need to retighten (for me at least). Positives: very, very comfortable. Loads of shock absorption, loads of support. No shin pain as super padded. Very strong construction, very warm. Grippy. Loads of response, and lovely to walk in thanks to the articulated cuff. For the price point -- excellent boots. Would recommend thoroughly. My only other recommendation, above these, would be either the ThirtyTwo TM2/3 (but they are very chunky, so work best with wider boards and Union/Rome/Nitro bindings), or the Burton Swath (for park and resort) or Ion (for resort and freeride), both of which are amazing on all fronts. Salomon boards and bindings though? Wouldn't recommend. Not sturdy at all. Boots are great though!

    Thanks this has really helped. Trying to by my first board. Stuck between two and not sure. Seems like the Capita black board of death or more a directional twin than the directional is says. Vs west rock camber from arbor. I like going fast but I may do park but would love to hit powder. So hoping directional twin with practice can be used for switch

    Hey man, great choices there! The Super DOA is a great choice, as is the Arbor Westmark Camber! I'd check out the Salomon Assassin as it has a great hybrid camber profile that gives you float in the pow and lock on the rails too with camber under foot, and rocker at the tip and tail! Otherwise, I'd say the Rome Agent is an excellent choice. It's what I'll be getting next. What do you think?

    Hi, my foot size is 260, would this salomon Lo Fi size be 265?

  • @huckyeah7906
    @huckyeah79064 жыл бұрын

    Hey buddy, I'm a UK size 10, Mondo 290, EU 44, and I ride the 290s. The Lo Fis are true to size which means you don't need to size up! They're built with a few extra millimetres of room so that when your foot compresses, flattens, and widens, that they're still really comfortable. They have lots of foam inside too that heat moulds, and they've been made to ride with snowboard socks as well, so I'd say if you're a 260, then buy a 260! (UK 7, US 7, EU 41) Hope that helps. Though what I will say is that if you're riding every day -- living somewhere and doing a season, then size down by half a size. So get 255s as the boots will get packed out (foam compressed) and feel bigger with regular riding. They'll be really tight at first, but after riding every day for a month, they'll give you much better control and feel great.
