0:15 Rigby: Well if I can't punch you, then I guess that I'll have to do THIS! Serves Mordecai right for his constant abuse towards Rigby throughout the entirety of this Regular Show episode and even that he & Muscle Man would both eventually caused Rigby to unintentionally summon an evil demonic version of Rigby as well.

Gosh! Garak’s character was sooooo well written! Then again all of the most, if not all, of the DS9 characters were well written!

Gd what a scene. Both actors truly sharing a duet. Great music usage at times which Star Trek can often get wrong. But here, all elements executed in sync.

You just don't get this type of self reflection in Star Wars. I like Star Wars but, Star Trek was better.

The greatest scene in DS9.. It's like a Nazi pretending that they didn't care about slaughtering Jews.... That they had no humanity.

  • @Eser10ten

Harris Yulin is Jewish, and so with the Halocaust imagery of this episode, I think it prudent to share this quote from him: “The Holocaust continues to be a topic of plays, movies and new written material because it was a period so horrific having taken place in the Western world. It has garnered more impact for many reasons. Such an event continues to come to some kind of understanding beyond blaming the perpetrators. …How did this happen? How can people get to this point when they could commit such acts?”

For me. This is the most powerful scene in all Trek. He was so guilty and so broken. He gave himself over so the victims He had no part in could have closure. It breaks me every time

What a powerful, emotional, and well-written episode. It brought tears to my eyes when he finally made it clear why he chose that ruse to to pretend be the true Cardassian butcher. It serves as a painful reminder of the trauma of genocide and its effect, not only on the victims but on those who were related to the butchers. Appalled by the savagery of their kinsmen to want to make an excuse of committing the very acts of genocide so as to find a bit of relief from the agony by association.

I think the execution of Marritza would probably save Cardassia and even the alpha quadrant. I think it might wake Cardassians up and address its wicked brutality and corruption that is undermining itself, and prevent Dukat from joining with Dominion.

A very well written show. When i was a kid I missed the messages they were conveying and the superb acting at times displayed. I just wanted to see the fight scenes. Now I enjoy all this show has to offer, which is so so much. They don't make shows like this anymore. Rip all the cast who have passed away.
