Yep not too many miles until my truck has 300,000 miles on it and I'll do a video on it as soon as it trips over to 300,000 miles. Then we'll see how many miles I can put on it before it won't run anymore or I can't drive anymore one. More to come.

This was taken almost 2 years ago and it makes you wonder where's all these fish now. Going to go back by this creek and see how it looks and see if I can find more fish, be wild to find some of these fish still there but would be hard to know if they are the same fish or not. Saw this off and on down in Westmoreland TN and thought I would take a short video of it. Got some huge rear ends on this thing. So at some point someone spent some money on this thing. Thanks for watching and will keep posting things I see, but got to get a better camera then the one on this phone. Right now I don't have the money to buy one but maybe one day I can get one, until then I'll do the best I can. Just hang in there and I'll post as much as I can.

I'm more of a Chevy truck fan but this would be my second favorite 1st generation truck of the 90's. I've always wanted one, I may never get the chance. Thank you for posting this video. Great job!
My truck just tripped over to 299,000 miles so far and just 1000 miles to 300,000 miles. Going to see how far it will go, going to drive it until it won't run anymore or I can't drive anymore. It still has the original engine and trans and going to see how many miles I can put on until it won't run anymore. One day though I would like to fix it back up because it's been such a good truck, time will tell. I'll make more videos of the truck as time goes on. Plus will get back to putting more City Adventures on here too. Thanks for watching, hang there and I'll start putting up more videos as I can get a better camera one day soon.
Was at the hospital because my cousin was having neck surgery today and saw the helicopter outside the window and thought it was neat, so made this short video of it. Been here almost 12 hours today waiting. Good thing is, she's come out of the surgery and it went good. Soon they will put her in a room, she may have to stay for a few days but maybe her neck pain will be gone soon. Thanks to those who watch my videos and as soon as I can get a better camera, I'll start putting more on here and hopefully make better videos, just bear with me. Again thanks for watching.
Crazy saw the Goodyear Blimp going by where I live in Allen Co. KY. Sorry the camera isn't very good on this phone but thought I would get a quick video of it going by. Not sure where it was going to and it was pretty low to the ground. Never know what you'll see these days.

Update on my truck, it was having a vibration when I got up to around about 55 to 60 mph, so a little while ago I put a new distributor cap on rotor button on it and now it runs good again. Just got to keep up with the maintenance and they will last.
I know it's not much but thought I would put something on here until I can get a better camera. The phone camera isn't that good on this phone. Will put videos on here when I can.
I think it's pretty impressive to see such a truck with these many miles on it on orig trans! They have a thing for going bad right? That's awesome! What kind of keeping up do you do with it so it lasts?
The biggest thing is changing the trans fluid and then the external trans cooler. Like I said I don't think the radiator trans cooler is enough to keep it cool enough. I started out by flushing the trans fluid, then about 6 or 7 years ago I changed the fluid and filter on the trans, and then the rest of the time I've been flushing out the trans fluid about a gallon at a time. Then I put in a new can of Trans X and a can of Lucas Trans Fix and so far I've put 106,000 miles on it myself. If you take care of them they will last. Most people don't ever change the trans fluid at all and then expect it to last forever. They don't take care of their trucks and then complain when it tears up on them. Not sure how far it will go but going to drive it until I can't drive anymore or it won't run anymore.

The weird thing is the wind wasn't blowing that bad last night or didn't seem like it. Don't know what happened but now I have a broken tail light so going to stop parking it there. Good thing I have a parts van with a good tail light on it and going to change it later on. Good thing it didn't break a window or something else. Crazy times.

Sometimes, the weather can suddenly shift. I believe that's all there is to it. Avoid dwelling on it too much, as you may begin creating unfounded conspiracy theories, which the world has more than enough of already.
Thank you for the tour of town. I spent time every summer with my great grands in the 60s and 70s there. The only change is the addition of the dollar store. They lived in the big White House on the side street behind the General store. We woke every morning to the aroma of homemade butter milk biscuits and the sound of the mill motor and fell asleep watching the lightening bugs dance on the lawn. Great memories!
Went out to start the van and truck and thought I would take a video of today. Wish they had a better song like Let snow, but this was the best one I could find to put on here.

This phone camera sucks but it's all I've got for now, my other camera messed up one of the reasons I haven't been putting videos on here. I'll try to get a better camera later on and then think of better stuff to film and put on here. Not that many good songs and I done used all I want for Christmas on the last video. I want to say something about the spot where you stopped and told the story. There used to be an old house that sat up on the hill. Everyone called it the old Carver house. I was born while my family lived there in 1970. Later on in the mid 70s my uncle, aunt and cousins lived there. I believe the house finally fell down in the early 2000s.

I went here last year in Thanksgiving because my sister lives in Portland and she unfortunately had a car wreck near the Walmart there and I went to the police station and the cops helped me get my keys out of the wrecked car and I appreciated their help. The biggest thing with living in Portland, TN is that you have to go to Franklin to go to the nearest Walmart. But other than that I thought overall my experience was okay. I definitely would like to move to Kentucky someday. It seems really relaxed but there are some things to see like horse racing and stuff like that. I always enjoy the countryside and the lifestyle.

My family and I are getting ready to move there in a month or so. I'm excited to be in a tiny town! I've never enjoyed the busyness of Nashville.
Cool yeah it's ok here not too much going on and most of the time it's quite. Just have to deal with power outages out in the country part of Allen county but not too bad.
I still have an aunt living in Adolphus. The last of my mom's sisters.
These roads are great compared to some of the roads in Indiana.
I need a better camera, maybe I can get a better one some day, but for now this will have to do. Here's the numbers for Fountain Run, don't as big as I thought. Population as of 2021 is 217, Males they are 116, Females 101. Median age is 40. Median income as of 2021 is $50,644. Median house or condo as of 2021 is 104,248. Just a nice quite little town. Haven't filmed in a while, the camera wasn't doing too good today or on this video anyways. I have 3 more videos to put on here if I can get them off of my camera. Having trouble linking it to my phone and then having trouble finding the video once it's unloaded to my phone. So having some trouble after not filming for a while.
