I'm more of a Chevy truck fan but this would be my second favorite 1st generation truck of the 90's. I've always wanted one, I may never get the chance. Thank you for posting this video. Great job!

Update on my truck, it was having a vibration when I got up to around about 55 to 60 mph, so a little while ago I put a new distributor cap on rotor button on it and now it runs good again. Just got to keep up with the maintenance and they will last.

I think it's pretty impressive to see such a truck with these many miles on it on orig trans! They have a thing for going bad right? That's awesome! What kind of keeping up do you do with it so it lasts?

The biggest thing is changing the trans fluid and then the external trans cooler. Like I said I don't think the radiator trans cooler is enough to keep it cool enough. I started out by flushing the trans fluid, then about 6 or 7 years ago I changed the fluid and filter on the trans, and then the rest of the time I've been flushing out the trans fluid about a gallon at a time. Then I put in a new can of Trans X and a can of Lucas Trans Fix and so far I've put 106,000 miles on it myself. If you take care of them they will last. Most people don't ever change the trans fluid at all and then expect it to last forever. They don't take care of their trucks and then complain when it tears up on them. Not sure how far it will go but going to drive it until I can't drive anymore or it won't run anymore.
