Love the old school stuff, cool to see someone go thru the Apollo library. You earned a sub, best of luck w/the channel!
6:00 amazing whaaaaa lol
Proof you're not clairvoyant to misdirect us from the fact you ARE clairvoyant. Let's see what you got! Tails Keychain-Ooh that's nice! I didn't get one of those in my box. Maybe I will in August. Super Challenge Baseball-A sportsball game. Actually for an Atari game in 1982, those graphics look pretty good. But the 2 player only mode does limit the playability of the game. And I'm not sure how a controller with one button can do all the things you need to be able to do in baseball. The Intellivision version would probably be better. Caesar's Palace-Wow another copy of Caesar's Palace! You're going to have the biggest collection of Caesar's Palace games at this rate! Cut Throat Island-I mean, the graphics look decent but I guess I need to play it to know just how bad the game is. Hmm maybe you aren't clairvoyant afterall. Sadly that does seem like a pretty weak box. I mean the value is there so that's nice but the games you got aren't too great. I guess Cut Throat Island is my pick of the box but that's not saying much when those are my choices.
My honest opinions: 10. It's a relatively ok game, but not really worth your time. Kaboom! is so much more fun & much cheaper too! 9. This game is kinda crap to me. I just can't see it being a full game on its own, especially not the way it is. 8. Wild premise, but not all that great. I can at least say it's a bit creative & can be fun in short bursts. 7. Again, fun in short bursts, but not much to it. It's a "so bad it's good" kind of game. 6. A bit boring, but it's at least more of a game. 5. A strategic tagging game! Kinda fun to play, but a bit hard to figure out what to do. 4. One of the better Tigervision games, but not great. 3. Boring educational game. Nuff said. 2. Kind of a boring multi-screen platformer, but not really BAD per se. Just a bit mediocre. 1. A really bad & poorly made hack of Space Jockey that is so boring & awful that it's not worth even $3.
I remember the Flash era in the 2000s, where games like these and often much better would have been free on kongregate or newgrounds or similar sites.
I do love the Bloclbuster stickers on the old carts like that. I still have never seen that movie lol.
Yep, just more and MORE unfounded hate (in the form of uncontrollable crying and screaming) for Sega coming from all the Nintendo fanboys again... 🙄 Simply just because the Genny is the 'PREFERRED' tried-and-true 16-bit platform to develop homebrews and ports on, and also because it's getting a few more extra new game titles added to its ever-growing library! 😛
Interesting video. I never herd of any of these games. I do not follow indie games too closely. Mainly due to i enjoy my games being deep. I do not play alot of pick up and play games like candy crush or something not with alot of depth of content. Thanks for the video Aggie!
Thanks for watching, Viro!
glad I found your channel
I'm glad you did too! :)
Great video, Ubermosh looks fantastic considering it's a buck
I freaking love that game.
Hilarious video Agg! That ding donging looks like fun. I have got to get a working computer again 😅 I can't believe I've never heard of Ubermosh either! But being a retro game enthusiast as well, I have the same sympathy for arcade style indy games.
Thanks, @SadVlad! Ding Dong XL really surprised me when I got it on the Switch. Just about as simple of a game as you can get but it is incredibly satisfying. There are a couple of the Ubermosh games on Switch, as well.
Rough box, but Caesars Palace for the win. When I was a kid, I used to get those gambling games because they were pennies on the dollar. Great video like always.
Thanks for watching! I'm keeping my eye out for all of the various incarnations of Caesars Palace now, because, you know, why not?
im happy to find you ,i was watching one doing the exacly same thing as you in quebec regulary but i found out he afiliate with a antit truck liberty convoy dude and was bad mouth about liberty and truck driver,so i stop watching him immediately ,i cant support people like that ,but i was missing the concept a little ,i will watching you instead

Is it just me or did the very first kid look like a very young Jack black?
That is a very young Jack Black!
I thought the same thing!
Cutthroat island is a very underrated movie. The game is just okay.
I would like to see the movie; I have heard that it is actually pretty good. I was not at all impressed with the game, though...
I would t mind giving cutthroat island a try I actually enjoyed the movie.I also had a thing for Geena Davis. Cesar’s palace with credit is recently got on Mercari for65cents.I can take or leave Atari Sports games I do like bowling and Basketball
I do need to watch Cutthroat Island; I'll make that a goal for the rest of this year.
I'm starting to get where I'm excited whenever you upload a video, and especially your unboxings. Your content resonates with me a lot more than other gaming channels. Great video as usual! What is your opinion on Nintendo World Championships on the Switch? It would be cool to see you do a review or a live playing it. I picked up the physical and the digital, that way I can leave the special edition sealed. It's an acquired taste but I love it and think it'll be right up your ally too. I had doubts about it until I actually played it and I'm glad I didn't follow my gut on this one.
Thank you so much, @SadVlad!!! That means a lot to me! I haven't had a chance to pick up Nintendo World Championships yet, but I've heard really great things. I'll try to grab that soon and do either a review or a live stream; maybe both! Stay tuned. :)
So, you've convinced me to buy it and I will be streaming it tomorrow. :)
Great shirt! If only Geena in her prime had been a cast member...
Agreed!
First and mostly. I enjoy watching your videos Aggie, =) Oh my, that box though. Which game was the centerpiece? Haha Thanks for the video.
Haha, yeah... I mean... The value really wasn't too bad and it's cool that I got Cutthroat Island in the box... I will go back to it one day, but it made a very negative first impression. Thank you so much for the kind words, Viro!!!
Were you still bloody chuffed after you opened the box Aggie? Its already a gamble without ceasers palace! Lovely stuff.
Haha. I was not as bloody chuffed as when I started the unboxing... Thanks for watching!!! Bloody chuffed is one of the best things to grace this channel. :)
CutThroat Island wasn't that bad of a movie, the game on the other hand well .... at least the game had the box. 😂
I really need to watch that; I wonder if it's streaming anywhere...
That is a sad box, but getting a Genesis case is a win.
Can't be too mad because of that Genesis case... probably the weakest box I have ever gotten from them, though.
Pete Rose Baseball on 2600 is my favorite baseball game on that system.
I actually own Texas Chainsaw Massacre & had owned a complete in box Malagai. It's the only game I ever traded away for something else & I don't even remember what. I had been trying to get Crazy Climber at the time & some guy in Chicago didn't think Malagai warranted the value of Crazy Climber. So he sh¡tted himself out of getting Malagai.
I really would like to own Texas Chainsaw one day, as well as Halloween. Hopefully you got something good for that copy of Malagai! Thanks for watching!
Atari 2600 is below the crap threshold. I like old systems, but this is just too primitive to be enjoyable for me. Around 1990 is where it starts for me to be playable
These are now officially old games, anyone collecting the original carts should only be doing it for a museum, putting value on these is ridiculous.
Video game values are quite arbitrary and, at times, very confusing. Thanks for watching!
To many Loose discs, but a ton of games.
I just wish there wasn’t so many loose games. The value is always on point, though.
I would also be willing to play Mangia. With the limited resources of the 2600, imagination was very important. 🙂
I had a lot of fun with Mangia. The amount of imagination utilized in 2600 games is a big part of why I love the system so much.
I assume that game is using the paddle. I remember a few games like The Music Machine when I got into gaming somewhere between the ages of 3 and 5 ( I've been gaming for a long time. lol ) It looks like something I'd be willing to play, but not at that price. Btw, you suck. 😁
Thanks again for the reviews. Halloween and Mangia look the most interesting to me.
Thanks for watching!
I started playing Atari 2600 games very recently, didn't have any real experience with the console as a kid, but Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween are on my shortlist of games to try out, but I think I'll be sticking to ROMs in that case. Awesome video. 🤘
There is a lot of fun to be had on the 2600 if you are able to look past the technical shortcomings. Thanks for watching!
I bought Halo a few years ago. I haven't opened it. I can't.
Very nice!
I found a copy of Swordquest: Waterworld in the dollar bin at a local retro store about 10 years ago. They didn't realize what it was and just tossed it in with the rest of the Atari stuff. Best day ever.
Haha! That's awesome!
I own air raid(ers) by m network close enough who wants a copy 5000dollars a cart. Cheaper than asking price lol
Yo !! I had Malagai !! My mom found a box of atari console and like 50 games for 5 bucks at a garage sale many years ago. I ended up trading an entire Neo Geo, 2 controllers and 3 boxed Neo Geo games for this cart, which was actually lightly defaced by a green felt pen. Wow what luck I ended up with this one!
That's awesome! You never know what you'll find out in the wild.
I would have kept the neo geo
So when I was 13 or 14, my grandmother took me to some flea-market type sale that had a ton of clearance items from just about every category you could think of. Tools, clothing, home goods, electronics and (most importantly to my interests) video games. I grabbed a random shooter for the 2600 for maybe $10 bucks and took it home to play. The cart was a baby blue thing with a t-shaped handle, and you know where I'm going with this: it was a copy of Air Raid. Unfortunately, the cart didn't work because it didn't seat correctly. If I held the cart in place, it would play, but for some reason the shape of the cart prevented it from being inserted completely. So I had my grandmother return the thing and get my money back. It wasn't until the early 00s that I stumbled on the Atari Age website and realized what I'd had back then.
Oh wow... that's wild! If only we knew then what we know now... One of my biggest regrets in life is getting rid of all of my Saturn stuff back in the day.
@@AggieThunderpaw Amen! Wish I would have held onto a couple of the electronic games I had back then. Kenner Redline is one that's very pricy now.
The retro market is part of the reason why I emulate. Since the devs no longer get any of the sales, I'm not paying a scalper hundreds to thousands of dollars for something they found at a yard sale or out of their grandparents attic. But I was really shocked that I only heard of three of these. Two of them being the horror games.
Emulation is amazing because we get to play all of these rare and hard to find games. I'm definitely more about playing games than collecting them, but there are always a couple of games that I really wish I would be able to find at a crazy low price (like the two games published by Wizard Video Games.) Now that I think of it, the two horror games and Red Sea Crossing were the only two that I had ever heard of before starting to research for this video. I will say that Malagai will be going into a future hidden gem video for sure; I really dug that one.
Very much this. With the exception of one of these titles, I already had them in my collection in LaunchBox and ready to play. Emulation also gives me the added benefit of things like upscaling, controller remapping and most importantly, save states because even after 30 years I still absolutely SUCK at some of these games. 😅
Why did you not include Birthday Mania, Gamma Attack, and Extra Terrestrials?
I do these lists according to PriceCharting.com. Those games weren't in the top ten according to their website.
At least they're all crap games.
lol... If Atari ever makes a real comeback, my advice to them would to keep Jack Black out of their future advertising. Poor Lionsgate.
Heavy Metal Legend Pat Boone 🤣🤣
🤘😆
Basically, most of these games have you thinking if you want to afford eating or not.
Precisely.
