I heard Marcin perform this piece live in Ingesund, Arvika in Sweden 2023, the day after his masterclass where I had the honor to participate. It was a fantastic concert and masterclass arranged by the Music University at Ingesund. 🙌🙏

Bach and Weiss used to have friendly improvisation competition sessions. I can't imagine improving baroque music with all of its rigid rules on any instrument. But on the baroque lute?

Better than Bream's version. Incredible. Really captures the heart and spirit of this piece. With Britten's music his delicacy of expression always requires a great performance, which is what we have here.

I listened to M. Dylla at an international competition in Moscow in 2007 (maybe 2008). Outstanding musician. A special sound, your own interpretation of the performed works!
