Love ❤️ June Pointer, too bad that she couldn’t kick the cocaine addiction, she was a fantastic singer, lots of bubbly, dynamic and high energy when on the stage. R.I.P. 🙏June, your fans loved you. You were a great part of The Pointer Sisters. I loved Anita also, her beautiful smile and amazing voice, she was the back bone of the Pointer Sisters. R.I.P. 🙏Anita, your fans loved you too. Ruth, an amazing lady, koodles to you for getting clean for 30 years, I am sure that was really tough, especially when your life would have been in jeopardy, but, you are an inspiration for those who are suffering from a cocaine addiction. I love ❤️ your smile, your low voice, Neutron Dance, Automatic, and the gospel song you sang in Paris, love ❤️ it and you all were very funny. I still watch The Pointer Sisters videos, interviews, you all were the best female group in my era growing up, I still listen to your music, and I know your legacy will live on forever. R.I.P. 🙏Bonnie Pointer also. 🇨🇦❤️🎶👏🥰

They should’ve let Bonnie join once June died. It probably could’ve saved her life.

Even though June was still with the group their harmonies were off. Not sure if they were tired or if June's drug use was and vocals were kind of throwing it off.

I always called them The Pointy Sisters, I like messing with words, the have to be right up there after The Supremes for class and hits.....Fire is a great song - What super famous performer wrote that song?( I know but no one likes a know all), we all know alls nowadays with google anyways, I had to go to a library to find stuff out back in the stone ages.

It's obvious that June wasn't in the best shape here. And she had no recollection of this performance but she was so talented that she performed out of muscle memory. If it werent for hwr being thinner than usual, you couldn't tell the difference.
