    There were a lot of moving details that were not in my final model. The bucket reverse thrust, leading edge slats and trailing flaps. Also opening and closing undercarriage doors. It was my first model so needed some room for future upgrades 😉

    thank you so much really love watching your videos. If i may, i suggest you watch Tom Stanton's Vtols and you will come to figure out a way to print the aircraft with just ribs instead of all that infill material. Also if You wish for the next project you could try a VTOL Flying Wing. Its quite challenging with the CG being far forwad, but its quite saticifying. Thank you.

    Why did you continue with the infill based solution instead of the engineered wing, if the latter has a higher strength to weight ratio?

  • @renerosentraeger
    @renerosentraeger2 күн бұрын

    Especially when it comes to VTOL Technic inclusion you are too limited with the engineered style. Also inner ductings and smooth surfaces are not possible.

    That is a strange question 😂 it will be able to take off and land vertically! Now seriously, if you mean the differences in the build: there are fuselage changes behind the cockpit to allow for a ducted fan and yaw control vanes and also upgraded wings with inbuilt lift fans and fan covers. So some considerable design upgrade.

    you can get rolls of the material they install car windshields with, and use that instead of the messy sealant for vacuum bagging. its called mastik. it can be reused. be sure to use 7mil plastic, as it has the elasticity and strength you need for the parts youre making. 9mil will distort your parts in the mould, 5mil will tear.

    Хорошая модель, однако открыты вентиляторы двигателей в воздухозаборниках для засветки радиолокатором. Самолёт не может быть невидимкой по вышеуказанной причине, вентиляторы будут светиться. Кроме того , воздухозаборник не регулируемый, для радиоуправляемой модели сойдет, но не для реального самолёта, он будет сильно ограничен в динамических разгонных характеристиках. Слишком толстый профиль крыла указывает на то, что это игрушечная модель предназначена до дозвуковых полётов на очень низких скоростях.

  • @SupernovaSpence
    @SupernovaSpence3 күн бұрын

    On a previous video we and actually talked a little about a scheduler that might be able to use a sensor and either obtain airspeed as a way to extend the slats or angle of attack. You could even compute angle off attack with an accelerometer and use that to extend slats by a certain percentage.
