  Trying to get ready for soccer tryouts in 6 days as someone who’s never tried to even attempt soccer before and have no clue what it’s about. I wanna do defense since it’ll be easier than offense since I can’t run very well as of now due to low stamina. Any tips(from anyone) as to how I can improve my ability in just a week?

  I am picking soccer up after 2 years, took one off to take a break and the other was due to a infected toe (kicking the ball hurt more than seeing a 79 on my report card). Thank you for helping me relearn something I learned so long ago

  My g/f ❤ loves the sport. After watching MESSI 🐐 win the World Cup 2022 🇦🇷 so do I!! I’m learning soccer skills just so I can pretend to keep up with her 😅. 33yrs old. It’s nvr too late to learn something new. 😊

  now I'm 56 and learning to kick/pass. all those idiots in my life who kicked my ass and humiliated me as a kid could have shown me the right way and I would instantly have a better team-mate instead of a complexed individual that I became. this is the world you live in a world full of parallel situations in which everyone loses.

  for anyone that needs a summary 1. don’t be scared, it’s all about your mindset. don’t be afraid of anybody because size doesn’t matter 2. go into 50/50s knowing your gonna win the ball 3. show the other person that they’re not going anywhere, no matter how scary they are. 4. don’t go into tackles soft, you’ll get hurt. go into 50/50s twice as hard as the other person.
