I make films about life and adventures in The Maine Woods. This includes off grid cabin building and bushcraft projects, campfire cooking, canoe trips, fly fishing, ice fishing and exploring remote places. I do a lot of shed hunting for moose antlers with my black labrador retriever "Gracie." I am an avid hunter with a passion for tracking big woods bucks in the snow and I make films about this as well. This channel is intended to document life in The Maine Woods.

Still getting better at it. I also like that you've thrown in a bit more commentary over time. Youve gotten much more comfy in front of the camera. I know I wouldn't be able to do it bro lol ... Doing that is alot harder than it looks for sure, let alone editing... So anyway man wanted to say what's up to you, I love what you do and I don't think you should ever stop!! I look forward to all your uploads.. Im disabled and i can't get out there like i used to.. Im 48 and my back is wrecked! Nerves are damaged beyond repair and it affects my legs too blah blah. My favorite videos are the P.O.V. snow tracking are my favorite cause i feel like im right there with you and thats the thing I miss the most! I can still sit on a stand for 3-4 hrs at a time and I can still hunt fairly flat terrain. I can also fish but I need a boat or kayak with a super comfy seat but I still do it. It’s easier to enter this country illegally as a foreign invader than it is for a guy to get a permit to build a small off grid cabin on his land…

Nice wee project but I bet it weighs a ton! It is so nice to have a table to sit at and eat, read, reflect. In Romania, the compliment to the host at the end of a meal is 'ceremona pentru masa' ('thanks for the table') which is a beautiful thanks not just for the food but for fellowship and friendship. It's pretty rare to be able to film a Momma bear and her two cubs for that long. Very cool. Great job on the table. You will be happy to have done all that yourself down the road. You are making great memories that can never be bought. Gracie seems to enjoy it there as well. God Bless!

Thank you for your great videos. In the past you have mentioned getting bitten by bugs. I live in Maine and highly recommend the Thermacell MR450. It puts off a scent and the mosquitoes, black flies, etc cant find you so they dont bite you. I can garden for hours and dont get any bites.

What is the problem with the permit? Could you leave a piece of the existing structure and build off that? We have camp in southern maine and our camp is built almost in water which is big no no now. As long as we kept one corner piece of original structure it was ok to do what we wanted to do. Your not even on the water. Heck nobody can see your place from the main road. Not sure why anyone would really care what your doin they should be happy you own land and pay taxes or lease rights to the land!!!
