How do you get your AI to not all crash into each other???

unfortunately you cant set up different lines using hotlapping, thatd be nice but you can take advantage of using all different cars so they handle different and end up on different lines anyway. and you can also change the risk parameter on each car so they play like different drivers

The 6:03 actually because its mainly unfonished because its missing some stuff like for the Pigeon its missing like the steering wheel and other interior piece's

One thing i do miss is the old smoke, sparks and particle debree that would happen when you crash, it made crashes *feel* more chaotic and realistic. I hope they bring that back in some capacity.

That footage you show is not v0.1, the test map/track in that footage is much newer then v0.1, old test map/track did not have any nature stuff and used different textures.

Even the Version 0.1 impresses me still. The game has come a long way and nowdays it's definitely one of my favourite car games of all time. The softbody physics were really realistic for the time. I'm really proud of the devs, they do such a quality job with the updates. The desert map has been a hella lot of fun and i love how they are remastering some of the cars too to make them look, crash and drive even better. Also the modding community is awesome, so many different mods available for the game. I wish they would bring an official online multiplayer like BeamMP - other than that this game has a very bright future.

For me the suspension is the biggest improvement, I can't even drive in the old versions now that I'm used to the new stuff, night and day difference

I’m somewhat curious, does the audio sound any different between DirectSound and XAudio output? DirectSound had everything sounding way lower and muddier than I’d expect, so I’m wondering if that’s just an audio backend issue at the time.

I don't remember changing anything. The only mod I used was Techdemo Gridmap in the new version for a more accurate comparison. It could be that I turned up the saturation a bit in editing.

I remember watching these old-ahh beamng compilations. I still remember when i first played beam when it first came out and im proud that the game still exists and that it's making a lot of progress in development

Unless I forgot about something this is vanilla Beamng in Terms of graphics. All i did was turning on dynamic reflections. This is why the Hood Looks so shiny.

It definitely required some practice when I recorded this. But now they added things like oversteer assistant which makes it easier.
