I still have the regular light bulbs that came with my 04 Envoy and it seems like I've had problems with the inside lights not coming on so I changed all the bulbs out and they worked for about a week and then when I would open the door as time goes on they would stop. Then id get them to turn on about once a month. It'll go on for about 5 times, starting the truck, then the lights go back off

My new seal measured a mm larger diameter than the one i pulled pulled out. And dang, i beat the hell out of the outter edge of the new seal during the install. Now im considering grabbing another and giving it another go before i put it back together. Definitely need a better punch to install it too. Did your new seal seem super tight and tough to hammer in? I had a real hard time pushing in the upper edge with the oil pan in the way.

I used the mobil 1 in a pinch, and it worked fine. Still use the acdelco on my 03 though.

This video is more useful than the directions that come with the ignition switch.... Tried for an hour with what the instructions said (which was to also remove the cylinder lock) after it not working I found and watched this video, did exactly what he did and boom it started first try 😅

FYI to folks - the LA series tractors sold at home stores (Lowes, etc.) or NOT made by John Deere (so you won't find them at the Deere website). I believe they're made by a company called MTD that makes 'private label', budget mowers for Deere, (Sears) Craftsman and others. I've seen the larger 'garden' tractors at Lowes that are in the neighborhood of around $2500. By contrast, my Deere 22HP X320 cost me $3500-$3800 (don't remember exactly) - 16 years ago. The hinge setup is completely different than what's shown here. Not knocking the video here, but look elsewhere for real Deere tractor hood hinges. Hope this might help someone.

@@KevinNadeau Please, don't misunderstand. I wasn't trying to insult your machine in any way. My only point was to let people know that some 'Deere's' aren't 'real' Deere's (and not just the LA series BTW) ...they might not know that. I know I didn't before I bought mine. If you felt insulted, my apologies.

I don't know what's wrong with the trigger you know with every time it goes tonight mode it just it doesn't trigger so I'm going to need you to go up there about I think I can power down at like 1:30 a.m. and hopefully got to get it up and running by 5:00 oh yeah there's no elevator

Thanks. Helpful. One note - our dealer warned us to use a synthetic blend rather than full synthetic- they said they observed some turbo blow by on these models with full synthetic.

Just now seeing this video, Studtacular78 was right. No need to remove fuel line to take the alternator bolts out if u are just changing it. If removing motor then ok, but not for alt swap
