    Love that SR 71. At the museum in Pensacola, one of the actual helicopters that my dad flew is in the museum hanging from the ceiling. He was thrilled to see the actual helicopter he flew on display. You are at my favorite museum! Thanks for the refresher.

    It is so much fun! I think this last time, about a month ago, with the Ranger led hike made our 3rd or 4th time. We learned a couple of new things going in with the Rangers. We love this cave also! :D

    If you didn't know. There is an easier way under the falls. At 7.25 you are standing on the entrance. It is very easy to shoot in and walk straight to the falls.

    Yes! We did a Ranger led hike about a month ago, and they took us that way. We had always crawled over all of the breakdown rubble before 😁 Thanks for sharing. We might not have known.

    Glad to see you mention a jump pack! I think it’s the most overlooked item, given how many people I’ve rescued with mine. It’s super-easy in the beginning to over look something and kill your battery. As you mentioned, that’s no fun when there’s no cell coverage, and it’s a 20 mile walk back to civilization.

  • @SL_BA
    @SL_BA7 күн бұрын

    I love our jump start! It has saved us more than once in the van. And last fall I used it to finish out the mowing season. My mower needed a new battery, but I wanted to wait till Spring. It is a very underrated little piece of mind for sure :D

    Hi! We're looking to buy a van and do just this but I'm very curious to know what you did with all those seats once they were removed? Were you able to sell them?

  • @SL_BA
    @SL_BA16 күн бұрын

    So sorry to be this late! I have been out exploring in Missouri, and my TMobile service was pretty much non-existent :D This build was so much fun for us. We listed the seats on FB marketplace and they sat there for a long time. I can't remember our original asking price, but it wasn't totally unreasonable. These seats were in really good condition. But we eventually sold them for $250 to a couple changing a campervan back to a passenger van. Lol We both got tired of looking at them stored on our porch. Good luck with your build, and getting rid of your seats :D

    I am so glad they are preserving it by making it an official state park. For those traveling, there's a little bakery in practically a shed on the way that's honor system. Marioochi's in Sparta is excellent for pizza if you're hungry after your hiking/caving adventure.
