  For anyone thinking about purchasing one of these, it's a great choice. Australian made, very well welded and built, (Seriously whoever welded these up should get into aerospace engineering) high quality matting, no missing pieces and insanely quick delivery from Qld to Vic. They also switched out all the matting for the colour I liked. Instructions were a little unclear but I just came here to look and see where things go with no problems. Ready to hit a creek ☺

  I'm interested on buying the 8x24 inch Vortex dream mat but I want to make sure if it will fit on my sluice box that is 200mm (interior width) and not 203mm (8") can you help me?

  mate 8 inches isn;t 200mm irts 203.2 it would be too tight, you could shave some off with a knife or flapper disc

  You’re using the wrong mat for cleanup. You need the DM micro mat. That’s the reason its all staying up top

  Buddy this video predates micro mat we didn't release micro mat for a few years after. This is still the best mat for running concentrates though followed by micro mat to strip gold from black sands.

  Two completely different technologies mate. Vlf vs pulse induction. Pulse induction wins every time when it comes to gold and ground noise efficiency. Vlfs offer us a bunch of other features though.

  Dustin & everyone, on my coils edge I tried this self-fusing Silicone tape that “sticks to itself” without adhesive. But the big problem is even when stretched tight this tape does “not stick to the coil” having no adhesive, thus the dirt & sand can get “under” the silicone tape “between” the tape and the coil. It is much better to use a type of metal free tape with a sticky adhesive that sticks to the coil to stop dirt & sand from getting underneath the tape.

  Good reminder .I have noticed though that even genuines ones seem to have a slight change in the SETA emblem .If you get a few in take pictures and you'll notice it .But the Chinese fakes are a lot different if you have a good eye I am in the process of buying a GPX 5000 but i think ill just get a new one ..Have owned the 4500 new and the 7000 new .Both sold now back to the king in my mind

  Good thing you own the company all you did was grow more holes and a good sluice and turn the whole thing around to the other end just leave it the way it was and put that rubber piece in you would have been better off

  HI Sam yes we took over the shop lease and detector dealership. Ben is still running his training mate at the same web address as before he has the 0476281760 mobile number for bookings. I dont think he is involved with the palmer project anymore you'd have to speak with him about it but he has the dates he does training on his website mate.

  Could you do the test again with the Equinox 800 and the same gold nuggets and give the weight and distance to see the air test difference between the machines. Afterwards, it's up to everyone to try it in their own soil. Thanks Gold Rat.
