i’ve been throwing them for about a week now, converted the tips for steel tip because i play in a steel tip league. They feel great, love throwing them. I’m just getting into darts (throwing for less than a year) but my grip is so unique finding the perfect dart is tough. Rick’s grip is very close to mine but slightly different so these and the winmau snipers feel the best so far, the search continues! great review
Which is better for a rear gripper? This or the shot viking drakkar?
It definitely depends on where exactly you hold the barrel - the Rannsaka goes from Siege to Marauder cuts in the rear so you might grip right in the middle of those two distinct cuts, whereas the drakkar has consistent siege cuts all in the rear that you might prefer.
@@azdarts I hold it quite far at the rear with my index finger, ring finger and thumb.

Yes absolutely, with opponent on a finish 100% agree.
@azdarts even when they aren't on a finish my chances to hit a T18 are way less than my chances on hitting single 20 I'm not saying I'm a new player I play superleague with a 77 average but dartsbis about playing the odds

These are just a nice damn set. Winmau really brought out some gems for this mini launch. As far as Cricket goes, it depends on the day. I legit can only hit half of the #s well any given day. Not even half the board, it's usually the odds or evens.
Now I only dislike the 16 in cricket. I go for the 19 like it's my life.
The eye candy is strong with this set 😍 ... Going to have to make a space in my collection for these at some point.
Pretty nice looking here, I do wish they were in the 46-48mm length range, especially being soft-tip. My dart budget is telling me to only pick up one of the new Winmau US Player launch sets, so it's going to be tough between these & the Maloney set! 😣

Beautiful darts but after having 4 sets of darts with Winmau/Red Dragons Diamond Fusion Coating, I hate to say this but I would never get another set with this finish coating. i also wouldn't recommend purchasing any Barrels with the diamond fusion (sand paper) coat unless your buying the barrel for reasons other than the diamond fusion coat. My Peter Wright Melbourne darts lasted me 2 months before the coating was 85-90% gone leaving the bare tungsten. I got them as a Christmas present and add them with me while I was at the Camellia Classic in Sacramento and was able to show them to some A-Z employees who were shocked at how badly the coating lasted.
These really are win-more darts when Jen throws them.
Have you ever experimented with a Winmau sight right? I’m just a newb, but I’ll shift over and square up to the shortest perpendicular throw to avoid the crossbody business. After a while, I realized I don’t even look at the sight right anymore… I just make a subtile shift left or right. But it helped me in the beginning for sure! Cheers!
Yes definitely love the sight right! It's been a long time since regular league play/tourney play, but traditionally I've always moved along the line to directly line up with the 16, 15 and 18.

I legit hate goin for checkouts where the lower left side of the board comes into play, I will avoid at all cost lmao and its for the exact same reason you said, the “across the body throw”, it just feels off no matter how good my game is. I’ll go tops and right side all day tho 💯🤌🏽

Well another con of one piece systems is, that if the flight is broken or damaged, youd have to replace the whole piece. Its way more expensive that way and you go through more material depending on how often you play.
This is my first viewing of one of your videos, and I really enjoyed your in-depth analysis of the range. I will be subscribing and hope for more great content. I am currently awaiting the Cult 01 in 21g to arrive. I hope I get on with them as well as you seemed too. I think I will be fitting a storm nano point to eliminate the lip at the transition from point to barrel. Have you found this to be a problem after further testing? Keep up the good work!
