I just got the red ones, they’re fantastic. I hated the other flights as they always fell out and ripped when I tried to put them back in. Kflex has been a game changer for me. I love the flight and stem joined together. Its so much better.

100% game changer. I love when ive had a few ppl who know next to nothing about darts in general try to tell me that i should get “good shafts/flights etc” or “what kind of tops are these?..cmon man u need to use a real darts setup” 😂 K-Flex are TOP quality design/function IMO, & thats why its my opinion-but the proof is in my accuracy. Also, like i say sometimes….Those who know, KNOW. 👌

8:15 The Target Bollide Void is a beautiful dart. I got the standard bollide and I'm a bit jealous how much better they look in black, although purely identical technically. Also lowkey waiting for yellow k-flex to become available. It just looks pretty nice when paired with most barrels.

I said this the other day about YELLOW!! 💯💯 They would look so good paired w my black One80’s (Raise B) w the yellow striping around the front of the barrel 🔥🔥

Thanks for keeping it unbiased. I've been using the black and whites since they were released and I'm happy with how they handle collisions. Durability has been very good.

I hvae the K-Flex rights myself. I had a pair of darts that wouldn't thread into them very easily. Threw them for a while and decided I didn't like them on this particular set of darts. Upon removing them, the shaft twisted so bad it deformed and never rebounded thus ruining the flights. Target said it wasn't covered under warranty since it was "more than likely bad threads on the barrel"... it was target barrels. LOL. I do like them and love I was about to get 3 sets for the price of One Condor Axe. Cheers.

Ever since the Condor Axe came out I haven’t gone back to regular shafts and flights even though I have a ton of them. Recently purchased a set of blue Winmau Fusions and I like them as well.

Awsome video just what i was looking for! Your reviews are very informative, engaging and super fun to watch! Ive been using the Robson Plus flights but im intregued about the Kflex im gonna give em a try! 🎯

I think you will definitely like them! My favorites are the No. 2 short, or No. 6 style. I cant say much about the other numbers (styles) bc i havent tried them yet!

Jen, Very informative video. I've been using K-Flex on two sets of my darts for about a month and they are holding up great. I have specialty points on most of my darts (about 30 sets; I've been playing for over 45 years) and haven't seen any damage on the flights so far. Another feature is they're much cheaper than the Condor Axe set-up. I'm also hoping for some pear shape K-Flex versions in the future. Thanks and keep the reviews rolling.

I watched a homemade video by Jen about L-style shafts years ago and I’ve been using them ever since. Carbon silent stems with champagne rings and molded pear flights. Virtually no robin hoods and very few deflections. This is a great review. I might try them if they make a pear shaped version.

The system also works better on some darts than others….ie struggled with k flex on my rvb echoes but on my target dobey….they worked like a dream…. Just gotta work out what works on your darts

Through plenty of experimentation over the last 35 years , I’ve found that not every system works on every dart the same. I have a few systems I use, including K Flex on about 5 sets, but some of my other darts just fly better with other systems. Not sure if it’s the dart, me, or something else, but I go nuts keeping track of everything. 😅😅😅

@@azdarts firstly I use an intermediate stem and flight number 6 so the k flex does not alter the set up however am aware the k flex is lighter than the normal stem/flight and I think it throws for me the balance out of the rvb echoes being front loaded …..am 6 4 tall and through medium strength and a mid/rear gripper…. I think with the dobeys it being a straight barrel then the balance is not effected……that’s my guess……have the new rvb 25 from the December launch will try again with them over the weekend and see if the different grip has an effect ( use 30mm points in both the rvb and the dobeys)….. hope this helps

Great, in-depth review Jen! Love the K Flex system, as well as the multitude of other stuff I’ve acquired over the years. A little off topic, but I started shooting after a long hiatus, (career, kids, you know) and there is no more dart culture in south Jersey anymore. Seems every place we shot at (I was a league shooter for years) is gone. If anyone reading this knows of a friendly place in SJ that has even informal play, and wants to share info, I’d be grateful. Just looking for some good people to toss some darts. Thanks in advance.

Always a shame when the local darts community slows down or disappears. Hoping you do find new locations! A lot of people have turned to online remote darts to get their fix in.

Hi Jen, great review of the K-Flex system. I wonder if the flex and twist are more noticeable with the longest vs shortest size that Target Darts offers. Am I correct that the difference between the shortest and longest is almost an inch in shaft length? Specialty points and/or point guards will definitely reduce deflection and damage. I ordered the Flight Deck and Condor integrated shaft flights from your site. Keep up the great reviews.

We definitely had the same hypothesis and thought about testing the different lengths of shafts, but honestly it took so long just to film the one short shaft segment that we had to cut that idea from the plan LOL. Yes 1 inch difference sounds right between the shortest and longest option.

Usually the lightest weight available lol. So typically 21g steel tip.

I love that you though of rear grippers. Thats exactly the reason why i couldnt use them, they flew ok but the groove made it impossible to get a smooth transition from one hand to another and i had to place the dart every time to get it in the right position. Needless to say that it gets annoying very fast😄 But the product itself is pretty good, just doesnt go with my grip🤷‍♂️

We figured as much! There's honestly like a 5% chance people will like the feeling of those deep grooves if they grip back there. Now we're wondering if a hybrid version can be made where the bottom half of the K-Flex is smooth haha.

Maybe a hybrid combo of K-flex and Pro grip Evo Al would be suitable for rear grippers...

Well another con of one piece systems is, that if the flight is broken or damaged, youd have to replace the whole piece. Its way more expensive that way and you go through more material depending on how often you play.

I bought the white ones when they first came out, they were chipped to pieces in a week even using the mission sniper points. They fly great through the air but they don't hold up well at all.

There is no way you could input that much torque to get a twist.

Please can someone tell me can you use these on just any darts you buy? Or do they have to be a specific make

Yes they fit any standard barrel! 2ba threading is what it's called where the shaft screws into the barrel. K-Flex are not a specialty flight & shaft system that only works with a certain barrel type.

Do target k flex fit in any make of barrel? Wimanu for instance?

You can use the K Flex with any barrel from any brand as long as the barrel has 2ba threading 🙂

Jen uses a custom set that features a scallop grip towards the rear. In this video, she was shooting the Bolide Void 01 & 10 for the test shots 👍

Do they weigh heavier? May mess up the flight mechanics

The Short K-Flex weights 1.33g, the Intermediate K-Flex weights 1.41g and the Medium K-Flex weights 1.52g so they are fairly light weight for a molded flight & shaft system. Pretty close to a traditional foldable flight and nylon/polycarbonate stem.

maybe one day these companies will produce kite shaped one-piece systems and with shorter shafts

Difference between no 2 and no 6 k flex flights?

The no2 shape is wider/larger than the no 6 size so it stabilizes quicker in the air and provides a little more lift. Really minor size difference. Theoretically, the no 6 (smaller surface area) will cut to the board quicker.

#3 Pro seems like a load of bs, I had these for one week and they cracked where the flight meets the body of the stem from bounce outs and then hitting the floor

i think the cons are not important for good play. when you grap the darts at the shaft, i think you have the wrong grap. greets
