    I realized I should disregard everything you say after you said wayne, mario, connor and ovie are the greatest 4 ever lmao connor can easily work his way into that convo but he hasn't been playing long enough yet, and cementing ovie in there like it's a fact is just laughable

    Ya gottta love the Oiler fans who, before every series, Say Oilers in 4! Then, they win in 6 or 7 and they're like See, I told ya!.. I am the Best at Predicting Hockey! It's actually the most immature thing I've seen in the Playoffs this year. and They seem to show up in every single video. Kind of sad really that Oiler fans let these imbeciles represent their very talented team.

    I'm old enough to have seen Bobby Orr play (and Toronto lift the Stanley Cup). Orr could skate and score like he was the only one on the ice. There's no conversation without his name mentioned. The Canadians dynasty followed by the Islanders followed by the Oilers was out of this world hockey.

    If you just look at the numbers yes you could debate they were bad, but considering 48 of those losses were by a single goal, you could say that dach's injury had a big.impact on the team and that they have improved a LOT over the last 2 seasons. Also slafkovsky having 50 points in his first full season without injuries is pretty insane considering he had a slump at the start of the season, and i do sincerely believe that if we can stay away from bad long term injuries, the habs could land a wildcard spot with the lightning possibly taking a step back with how bad they performed this year and with the red wings still being a doubtfull team with how low they performed with the lineup they have. Also if kent hughes is able to pick up necas for the second line and another solid winger for said line, i do believe that they will make the playoffs. The habs core is still young and have a lot to get better on but that first line will be one of the most hyped in years for montreal. Also what people tend to forget is that last year montreal had to deal with a three goalie rotation which can affect the team a lot because of a lack of consistency in net. And with primeau finally taking that first step to becoming an actual backup, we can expect good things from the habs next year.

    The Panthers have never won the Stanley Cup before, while the Oilers have won five, tying them (with Pittsburgh) for the most Stanley Cups among non-Original Six teams. But Edmonton actually has the longer Stanley Cup drought, since the Florida franchise wouldn't come into existence until the fall of 1993, three years after Edmonton's final championship so far. Also, when the Florida Panthers first started to play in the NHL, the defending Stanley Cup champion was the Montreal Canadiens. The Stanley Cup has never been won by any team based in Canada since then, though Edmonton will now attempt to finally break that drought.

  • @Vindobse
    @VindobseКүн бұрын

    @DaRinkRat history will almost certainly remember crosby as the better player and it has nothing to do with any stats or highlight reel, look at ovechkin this playoffs zero fucks give and absolutely no effort say what you want about crosby if he's on the ice he gives it his all everytime, I'm not even a pens or crosby fan just stating the obvious

  • @DaRinkRat
    @DaRinkRatКүн бұрын

    @@Vindobse Crosby is a really good player, who spent his entire career playing with another top 10-20 all-time player, a Hall of Fame goalie, and elite coaching. Ovechkin carried an entire franchise for two decades and is about to break Wayne Gretzky's goal-scoring record. Ovi's better, it's not at all close. And he at least managed to make the playoffs this year, despite being on a worse team with a rookie head coach.

    Wanna see Toronto's reaction now when this "no-name goalie" won gold medal for us after 14 years of waiting... And even being the only goalie with 3 clean games... 21/21 saves agaisnt Fin., 0:1, in group stage. 36/36 saves against USA, 0:1, in semi!! And now 31/31 in final! game against Switz, 0:2.... Crazy. 🇨🇿🇨🇿🇨🇿

    the oilers are a house of cards with no defense? Ummm WTF? They have killed off 19 penalties in a ROW. They have the HIGHEST PK of all the teams in the playoffs. So many people just spew off stuff about the oilers and don't know jack shit. It's really lazy.

    I actually pick Florida in 7. I think Florida will frustrate the Rangers

  • @tkdmike9345
    @tkdmike934515 күн бұрын

    Ranger’s 5v5 has been mediocre 19-18, being barely positive against Carolina is one thing, but to include a terrible Washington is a cause of concern. Florida is the best 5v5 team in the playoffs 22-17. Rangers needs their #3 ranked PP to consistently beat Florida’s #3 ranked PK. While the Panthers #1 ranked 5v5 needs to consistently beat the Rangers #6 ranked 5v5 (worst of the 4 remaining teams). Plus, Florida has the Selke winner and the guy who got the 2nd most 1st place votes. So they definitely have the ability to limit the Rangers scoring chances. Rangers definitely have the ability to run away with a game or two, but if its tied in the 3rd and the refs put the whistle’s away, the Cats are gonna eat the Rangers alive. Florida in 7 Bonus: Florida was the team of destiny last year, and they lost in 5.

    The elephant in the room is the refusal of ownership to spend on talent, the Coyotes never had a max caped team, you can’t expect anything from a team operating with an extremely smaller budget. The Wild is discovering what a 10 millions handicap feels like in performances, imagine 20 or 30 or more, the Yotes only ever reached the cap floor with the help of LTIR retirees lately.
