1:34:20 Ahhhh... the Golden Chariot --- one of my all-time favorites!! One thing I always especially liked about this roofless car is that you can watch --- and listen --- as the trolley-pole "sings" along on the overhead wire just a few yards above you, and then also hear the crisp guitar-like twang of the released-and-then-quickly-re-contacted wire as the pole passes underneath each of the towers that support the wire. You literally have to be there and experience it for yourself to know how amazing and special it is. :D

9:56 Thank goodness that that elderly woman had a sturdy leather handbag draped down behind her, or that heavy steel music-stand might have given her a painful smack on her posterior when the wind blew it over! :P

I miss the elderly motorman Lyman Hurter --- he was my favorite employee there back in the early '90's (at my request, he autographed the back of a photo I had of him in my picture-book --- ahhh, memories!). He'd also been one of the first employees at the museum --- he'd started working there in 1940, just a year after it was founded. :D

The narrator is fantastic. If anyone's interested, look for the video of the 'Electric 50' tram parade at Crich tram museum in The UK, which is where I'm from.

I'm from Connecticut and it's good to see Connecticut cars up in Maine, other than just at the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven CT.

Will be visiting the museum on Sept. 3rd. Looking forward to it, being from Montreal, I hope I'll get a good look at the Montreal Tramways streetcars and Montreal & Southern Counties cars too. Looking forward to seeing the old buses, trolley buses and subway cars too.

That section didn't record video (long story). I replaced the parts with no video with still images of the various cars - however some of those also didn't upload for some reason... I'm in the process of exporting a new version which will have the photos of the missing pieces...
