Hi. I just watched your video on your blind tilt. How is it working? Should I try to duplicate what you did or should I try something else?

Great project! I know this is 3 years old but have you made any changes to your code? Are you still using the stoplight? It'd be great to hear your thoughts on this after 3 years!

Very nice! I’m new to the arduino world, but I am wanting to utilize your platform to make this, but modify it to use an actual stop light that I have. I assume the relay boards will work with the nano you recommended?

6:40 i don't know if you knew it but java and javascript are two different languages that have nothing to do with each other. The java in javascript is only there because java was the cool new language back then.

Great video. Appreciate the detail and highlights of things that didn't work. I've been putting together ESP32 devices (LED strips, Presence Sensors, etc) and integrating them directly into HomeKit so I can automate or control them. Blinds are still on my list of things to do so this was very helpful.

@TyPalowski Congratulations man! But I gotta tell ya...you have the time. You just have to prioritize it. Might be uncomfortable, but I think it would be worth it. You have a great channel. If you can be consistent in any capacity, i.e. 1 video a week, 1 video a month, whatever, the channel will grow and it can be parlayed into a bunch of different opportunities both financially and otherwise.

How is your custom black box working for your Jeep 4 years running now??? I’m curious what modifications you have done to it? Is there a way to add a cell phone Internet, connection of sorts so that you can be notified on your phone if someone’s actively trying to break in? I would love to see some sort of open source app, where DIY builders contribute to making it functional. There are employee owned businesses, so why not user owned apps???

oh god , JavaScript is not java , if you tell a java developer that JavaScript and java are the same he will punch you in the face !! also as a JavaScript developer myself , if i ever find you on the street , i will slap you for your insult (im joking). there is this mutual hatred between the developers of those 2 languages becoz no one can understand the other language ,and you dont want to be caught in the middle of it.

the thing with solar is , there needs to be NOTHING on the panel , absolutely NOTHING , we had a 100 W solar panel that was outputting only 30W peak , the reason was , the shadow from the powerlines overhead !!! i saw how you mounted your solar panel with double sided tape on the front of the panel , thats a big no no also add a diode to stop the voltage from the battery going into the panel at night ,a non working solar panel is just a resistor also you can read the battery voltage with a voltage divider and show it in the home page
