Yes, there have been many deaths in battles in Spanish America, the entire east, south and southeast of the United States and all of America in general... but the biggest killers... were diseases... in Europe a century before Colon arrived in America, it had been devastated by the Black Plague... brought by rat fleas on ships from Asia, the Spanish and European colonizers... brought diseases, such as smallpox, syphilis, tuberculosis, to these territories. that they were not used to these diseases, very high percentages of indigenous people died...then arrived at the end of the first world war...another disease...we are going to give it a Spanish name so that they can see that it was really bad...(the Spanish flu).
