Wildly Fermented Beet Kvass | No BS

Throw beets into the jar with salt.. I always salt to taste! It depends on the size of jar you use so anywhere from a tsp of salt to a tbsp and a 1/2!
Fermentation length depends on how cold or hot it is where you live! So between 3 to 5 days. Or 7 days if it doesn’t seem as active! It’s a learning process so enjoy it !

    If you do use the swing top lid method you will need to ferment an extra few does after draining out beets! Once fermented store in fridge for up to 6 months to a year … the later it goes the more flat it will taste so I recommend drinking within a month !
