Super adorable 😍
Thank you so much! ☺💕
This is the most comprehensive video I have ever seen about UV resin, and this has changed a ton of how I will do things from now on!! Thank you SO much!!
Wow, thank you and you’re welcome! That’s great to hear! 💕☺️
Hi, I made badges with polyurethane fast cure resin and there were bubbles and holes on the bottom. I was wondering can I fix it with UV resin? Cheers
I personally haven't used that kind of resin, so I'm not sure, but you could put UV resin on a small spot where it won't be so obvious, just to try it out. Sorry I couldn't give a definitive answer, but I hope it all works out! ☺️💕
i want to try one!!!! i have been looking for something to do with the pearl clay this will be perfect 😋
You’ll love it! The pearl clay gives such (!!!) a pretty shimmery effect, it’s the perfect colour for a magic spell book! 🤩💕
you make it look so easy 🤣 adorble
Hahaha, sometimes it's actually quite difficult, but shhhh! 😂 Thank you very much ☺💕

Thank you so much for this video! It resolved all of my questions. I have a question tho. I have the same Suny mini UV lamp and I used it repeatedly on a small piece of airdry clay, but it doesn't cure. It cures like 90% but it still has that 10% of tackiness. It's actually very frustrating, do you have any idea of what I'm doing wrong? I also used a very thin layer. The piece is also vey small so I expected it to cure quickly. Maybe it doesn't work on air dry clay?
You’re very welcome! I’m so glad it answered your questions! I personally haven’t tried it on air dry clay but I think it would be fine to use on it. The only thing I can think of, if it’s not working on air dry clay, is if the clay hasn’t fully dried yet? It could look dry from the outside but still have a bit of moisture inside it. I’m not really sure, as I don’t use it that often, but you could try it again on a test piece that’s dried for a few days, then glaze it and cure it with the light to see if that works. If it doesn’t, I would place the piece outside in the sun for a few hours on a hot day so that the tacky parts of the UV resin can cure all the way through. I find that the lamps are great, but it still doesn’t beat natural sunlight, imo. I hope that helps! 💕☺️
@@Cloudfetti Thank you so much for the thorough explanation. You're really sweet💕

How to glaze big pieces that are not charms more like sculptures and stuff I always try to glaze them with resin but they always end up being stuck with the surface ruining my sculptures any solution?? 😊
I would definitely glaze them in stages. If it’s possible, try to glaze one end, like the base of it first, then cure it, and continue so you cover the rest of it and don’t have to touch the bottom surface a second time around. I hope that helps! ☺️💕
@@Cloudfetti thanks so much I will definitely try that 😊😊😊
You're very welcome! I have a tutorial on my channel sharing how to glaze polymer clay with UV resin, and it shows how I glaze pieces without an eye pin. That might give you a bit of an idea of where you can start on your sculpture! ☺️💕
@@Cloudfetti I already watched that lol 😊😊
I came over from Reddit to watch the tutorial!❤❤❤I’m opinionatedqueen over there 👉🏽 Great work New Sub🎉
Aw, thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Thanks for subbing, as well! ☺️💕
Can you please tell me why my uv resin is uneven on my charms having trouble with evening them on my charms that are not flat 😭😭
It could be that you are putting too much on one side, and not enough on the other, or, that if it's not a flat charm, it could be the resin dropping/flowing to the lower side with gravity. You could try to brush on a thin layer all over the charm, cure it and then continue to build the layers, which is the method I like to use. I hope that helps! ☺️💕
Thanks ❤
You’re very welcome! I’m so glad it was helpful! 💕☺️
What a beautiful flower, perfect! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awww, thank you so much! 💕☺️💕

Thaaank you! 💕☺️
Cute
Glad you think so, thank you so much! 💕☺️
Hi, I just bumped in to your channel and I love how you show and explain everything basics about polymer clay. Thanks so much for this video. i just want to know if you also work with air dry clay? And why do you prefer polymer than air dry? Would love to know your insights. TYIA for your response 😊
Hello, thanks so much for your kind comment! You’re very welcome, I love sharing tips and tricks, so I’m glad you found the videos helpful! I have worked with air dry clay before, but I much prefer polymer because you can take your time with making things, whereas with air dry clay, I find you have to work a bit quicker. I also found air dry to be more fragile when it’s dried. Also, you can buy pre-coloured polymer clay, which I think is so much easier! Although, air dry does have its uses, I love polymer way more! I hope these help! ☺️💕
Awesome video! Loved seeing all the things being made! 😍😍😍
So happy you enjoyed it! Thankies! 💕✨

You're welcome and thank you sooo much! I'm so happy you like it! 💕🎨 (Also, I just had to post another community post thing, I uploaded the wrong photo of the close up cat charm and it wouldn't let me edit it 😂 so if you were looking for your comment, and it's gone, that's why! 💕)
@@Cloudfetti 😑 ok then, the first 'like' and 'comment' is going to be me 🤣
I also have the flowery pot and its suuuper yellow, takes ages to cure...i found SAANNAA much much better, super clear and cures in the 120watt UV/LED lamp Tempered Top Coat or a Rubber Top Coat without the sticky layer is better and a cheap option. I got recentley UR Sugar Reinforcement gel and once you removed the sticky layer leaves a suuuper lovely shine.
Oooh! Yeah, not the biggest fan of the Qiao Qiao brand, but I’ve heard great things about the SAANNAA one. Thanks for the info about the top coats! ☺️💕
Hi, thanks for this tutorial! I'm just wondering why my polymer clay keeps darkening a bit in the oven, is that just a thing? I use Fimo clay, by the way.
Hi, you’re welcome! I hope this video is helpful to you! Polymer clay does tend to darken in the oven if it’s not covered with something to protect it from the top heating elements of the oven. I found it’s usually caused by the heat and longer baking times. You can prevent it by using a foil ‘tent’ over the top, or even better, a foil bbq tray, which is more sturdy. I have a video on my channel called “how to bake polymer clay for beginners”, and at the 20:02 mark, it has a chapter called ‘browning/darkening of polymer clay’, which has a visual of the bbq tray if you need it! Make sure you’re also using a separate oven thermometer to check the proper internal temperature of your oven, because oven dials are often incorrect and can heat hotter than what you actually set it to. I hope it helps! 💕☺️
Thank you so much for getting back!! It was very helpful, thanks! 😊
You’re welcome! 💕☺️
Where did you get the roller from?
I got it from my local craft store. It’s the Sculpey brand acrylic roller, and you can also find it online 💕☺️
Thank you so much for the helpful video. Do you bake the clay using both upper and lower rods ON?
You're very welcome! I set mine to 'turbo', which has both the upper and lower heating rods on, plus the inbuilt fan which helps to evenly distribute heat. If yours doesn't have a fan, I would suggest heating from the top and bottom, so it heats equally 💕☺
Okay thank you so much.
Super helpful thank you, I'm currently trying to make a Korock from Zelda and don't want to burn or underbake because it has happened
You’re welcome! ☺️💕
Can you make chocolate syrup with white polymer clay and chalk? Instead of clear liquid clay? Thanks
You would need some kind of liquid clay, as white polymer clay and chalk pastels won’t make a sauce consistency on their own. In the video, I used Bake and Bond to make the chocolate sauce, which is a white colour, not clear, if that helps! Also, make sure not to use sidewalk chalk because those aren’t as pigmented as actual art grade chalk pastels ☺️💕
Extremely useful, thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome, I’m so happy you found it useful! Happy claying! ☺️💕
Fantastic tutorial! Very detailed.
