Am I crazy ,,,? Seems like she replaced the addiction with having a new baby - or whatever void she is working thru. But agree Charity has stuff that is on the table as well. Paris def. Seemed resentful if you watch the doc.

This lady lacks feelings. Maybe numb however I saw videos of when he was young talking or his mom and she would ignore him or what he was saying. It seems he kept reaching out for love and attention. If you look over time many children who have been ignored most likely become psychopaths or murderers. Not the ones that were necessary abused but ignored. I follow many many many crimes and have seen many trials, documentaries and I see one thing in common with this children. Being ignored, there feelings swept under the rug, not payed attention to what they are saying. Lack of hugs or kisses. So he had a lot of time on his hands. He watched porno. Yes she worked but why didn’t she know this? Because she was an absent mother. You look up what your kids are watching , reading and more. She didn’t. She was also told by the doctor after he stabbed her to watch out. She didn’t care he stabbed her. She ignored it. He was crying out for love and attention. She has a flat affect in parenting. I’ve seen this many times

My only question is, if someone who wasn’t her son had done this, would she have forgiven them? Would she be taking the position she is now? I only ask because I feel like she’s truly stuck in a rock and a hard place because it wasn’t just a stranger that did this to her daughter it was her first born son.

The mother is fueling the wolves in Paris. He loves having her in his life because he can continue his murderous thoughts of killing her. She would do better if she would let him go. She lost her beautiful little girl to her murderous son, I don't think letting him out of her life would be easy. If everything could be so easy. NOT! What a hard place to be. I hope she finds peace in what ever she does. It might help if she would not stop the drama by aways going public about the son she loves. The more I listen to her I think she gets off on her interviews as she sounds like a narcissist. I could go on and on.🥱

Exactly, sociapath - narcissistic no they are not easy . Am the same as a parent .its unconditional no matter what. Might be angry at them but its only temporary. But i don't think I could have paris living under my roof and near me . Couldn't trust him ever. I don't like narrow minded. Try to think out of the box.

Personally I think the mother is Amazing.....she's absolutely right ... Torn between two different situations. Death of her child but also the fact that her other child n eldest that murdered the other child.... It's a very ugly situation. I think she dealt with it very well. The death of a child is utterly devastating been there. But at the same time coming to terms with the fact that the eldest kid was the killer. Sounds like Paris had sexualities issue. But yet the mother in my opinion seems very normal , open minded parent. I don't like narrow minded . .I don't think it achieves anything.

What about how Paris aledgedy ALSO s÷xeally assault his sister, of all the info I've found so far, no one discusses this. Why ? I understand it is been said, "can't trust the internet" but I am curious. Is this a fact or fiction...? "Paris Bennett went to prison for murdering his younger sister Ella Bennett who was four years old. Paris choked her 'before sexually assaulting her' and eventually stabbing her 17 times. He did this to punish his mother. He is still serving his 40-year jail term at the Ferguson Unit Texas State Prison.

A lot of comments are against her and her judgement, but that was her first child. She didn’t have anything to compare what was normal and not normal. She didn’t readily jump to conclusions about him, that the true crime junkies would have noticed straight away. She also idolized this child because he was her reason for getting off drugs. She was definitely in denial at some point. She has lived through and with some of the worst scenarios you could imagine. Please do not judge people. You don’t know what happened.

  • @rca6576

Her parenting story is so odd. You don't take away the entire allowance of a 13 year old and make them return everything. It's their allowance. If they spend it all in one day then they don't have any money the rest of the week. Making him take it back seems.....bizarre. I feel for her but, she's not someone I would go to for philosophical or any other pontifications. Also, you don't have to answer violence with violence. You also don't have to engage with a sociopath or forgive them to heal. There is a happy medium there she seems to miss. A lot.

I have always felt that my parents' love was conditional. Throughout my life, they have cut me off for things like not answering the phone or inviting other family to ride with us to my son's graduation or telling them they have white privilege. Each of those things led to being cut off for a few months up to a few years. I had my son when I was 17, and he saved my life. I was homeless, a dropout, and I am almost certain I would have gone down a dark path. From the moment I heard his heartbeat I knew I could not give him up for adoption and that meant I had to get it together because I was not going to let him grow up on welfare like I had with my birth mother. I worked my ass off to give him the childhood I never had and the love i never felt. I grilled into him how important his education was, because i wish someine had done that for me. He just got his PhD. in Bioengineering from U-Pennand and is starting a job as a Senior Research Scientist at a Biotech company. His starting salary is over 6 figures and he is debt free. He doesn't even have a car payment. He made it. He will never have to struggle financially like I have my entire life. He will not spend 30 years paying off student loans like I did. My job is done. My love for him has always been unconditional. He was my whole world from when I was 17 until his little sister was born when I was 32. I totally understand what she means about loving her son unconditionally. There is nothing he could ever do that would make me stop loving him.

Charity never states that authorities found the killer's semen on her daughter and on the bed. Why is that? Also, Paris tried to stab Charity a few months prior to him killing his sister. She took him to a mental hospital where a psychiatrist told her Paris was homicidal. "Little things that happened?" Really Charity!! She took Paris home and says she has no regret about her choice. A few months later Paris killed his sister. CHARITY IS JUST AS SICK AS HER SON. She refuses to acknowledge any responsibility

I think everyone has glossed over this but I think Paris needed a father figure and he felt left out. I think he got attention but he felt left out because his mother couldn’t help him learn how to grow into a man as he is experiencing hormones. Charity treats men like sperm donors for all her kids. That’s not normal. And considering he raped his sister I think he was confused with sexual feelings and not having a dad made him feel alone. I’ve had a lot of shitty men treat me bad but even so I still understand that especially to teenage boys having a father figure is important for teenage boys. If I didn’t have a mom I can’t imagine how alone I’d feel when I had my first period. Single parents try to make excuses that kids don’t need both a mother and father. But it does affect kids to some degree. Some more than others. And Charity gives off major man hating vibes. Paris didn’t have an uncle or an other substitute father figure.

It might not be obvious to the casual observer, but I've noticed she is most likely a sociopath herself or at least somewhere on the spectrum, if not a full blown sociopath and clearly a narcissist. Let's take a look at the list of criteria for psychopathy, also known as ASPD, according to the DSM-5 : 1. Substance abuse (she used to be a drug addict). 2. Disregard for the safety of self or others. (She's admitted even in this interview she was close to killing herself out of recklessness). 3. Many intense but short relationships. Promiscuous behavior. She's had several men, even Paris's father left her and after all that's happened, even tho you wouldn't expect it from a woman who claims to not have time to enjoy anything and who's been grieving, she's already managed to born another kid with yet another man. Also, It's apparent even in interviews, if you're good at reading people. There are some details that most people might not even pick up on, but I do, such as : When the interviewer says "We had problems with the connection, haha we're back..it cut out", if you pay attention, any normal person who's not sociopathic would reflexively smile or laugh too in that awkward funny moment. You might've done it when the interviewer had that reaction...She, on the other hand, is completely disconnected and maintains a rather flat affect then proceeds to go on about her accomplishments and what she's been doing lately. Also, the frogs story. What kind of person with empathy and a well developed amygdala would have as a first thought "Oh, son, you tortured these frogs, let's kill them to end their suffering. Wanna do it? Ok, I'll have to do it"??? Seriously...Personally, I would naturally feel repulsed and not even wanna touch the frogs. That's most likely the case for you too. She had no problem in even coming with the idea. Also, the circumstances are in her favor regarding her image of a mother who loves unconditionally, but at a closer look she is just capitalizing off of this drama. Books, businesses, interviews and her going to visit her son is basically just to be "legit". Moreover, I don't know what she did or didn't do during her son's childhood, but it was probably less pleasant than she makes it out to be. After all, she was an addict and doesn't seem to have a whole lot of empathy to me. There's a lot to say, but I'll stop for now. And no, I don't have a PhD and I'm not a psychiatrist/psychologist nor do I need to be one to be able to notice these things and you might argue with some of them, but if you completely ignore all of them, you're an ignorant and an easy target prone to being manipulated and sooner or later you'll eventually get burned and you deserve it. She's NOT a poor grieving mother!
