A place for home decor lovers! Thrift store finds, upgrades, flips, home decor ideas and inspiration, DIYs, dupes, thrift with me videos and all the things related to love of home decor and thrifting!
I have not tried it but I always wonder what distressing would look like by sliding the wood on gravel or even aggregate pavement. It seems like it would add great marks WITH POSSIBLE DISCOLORATION in places.

Can you sit on that bench?

Yes, although I don't just because I didn't make it to be strong enough for that purpose--just decorative--so I'd hate to break it.

Love all of these dupes! The branch candle holder is amazing. Thanks for the tip to look for the Amazon returns price on the website, and the wire cutter area of needle-nose pliers. Your bench looks perfect at the end of your bed. ♥

I love watching your channel, you have such great places to thrift in the USA compared to us here in Canada, so many more antiques. I would absolutely love the candlesticks, I grew up in the 60’s and they bring back many memories for me.

I will be out in the woods… at the back of my property… first thing tomorrow morning gathering the branches to make three of those candlestick holders. Might as well make them all at once so when the kids come over for the 4th I can just give each of them one so they won’t take mine home with them😂. Great video beautiful dupes as usual🥰.

I love the big tree, the bench and the linen books. I just noticed I have a littke Van Gogh art book in linen. I saw in the last commenta someone said something about you not feeling well...back problems naybe. I hope you are better if I am remembering right .❤❤❤❤

Did you leave the frame out in the sun AFTER you washed the Easy Off away? I have seen several KZreadrs do that when it wasn’t as light as they wanted.
@TashaatHome2 сағат бұрын
Yes, until it dries completely. However, as you say, I'm sure leaving it out longer keeps lightening it more and more.

Your videos are fantastic! Your explanations, pacing, cadence, etc., are so great. Not to mention your creativity and resourcefulness! For your future linen books, if you want lined or lovely paper inside, you could get some journals for a buck or so at thrift stores. The pages are usually lovely (though the books themselves might not be large enough or thick enough).

Great ideas!! Love it! How do you find the Amazon return warehouse listing?
@TashaatHome17 сағат бұрын
If an item has a used option it shows both "buy new" or "used" options in the area with the pricing. On mobile the buy used price is somewhere under the new price if you scroll down. On a laptop it will show on the righthand side. You can also search JUST the warehouse items by clicking the dropdown menu by the search bar and clicking "Amazon Resale." (They changed the name--it was called "Amazon Warehouse" before)
