I'm looking forward to the full roster. I really hope to see some OG ball characters like possibly kid goku & demon king piccolo. And i would be fine if GT & movies arent base roster. This game better have my buuccolo in this game (he's not in a single dragon ball game to my knowledge)

@@NerdStorm92 As I understand it, the director's changed from episode to episode, so the primary common denominator there would be her acting, no? Like... I suppose you could put it on Leslye Headland, because technically the buck does stop with her here (and maybe Kathleen at a macro level), but like... yeah, that feels like a cop out to me - especially because by Leslye's own admission a lot of the decisions about the show were character/actor driven, so she's really given the strong impression the actor's were given a lot of free reign with their characters.

Overpriced. Delayed availability due to the companies refusal to counter scalpers i.e., we miss 3 years of usability. PS5's price INCREASE when it's 4 years old. Barely any games. Xbox doesn't even feel like Xbox anymore. The UI is generic and lame. Dumb console name too. Really ugly design. Basically too expensive, too little and too late.

The show wasn’t good,It wasn’t that bad either. The acting was bad .The lightsaber fights was good. The canon discrepancies didn’t bother me that much. George Lucas Did the same thing with the prequels. And those movies was awful

The fandom needs to stop with the BS. The show was very interesting. Light Saber choreography was impressive, flashbacks served their purpose, and the costumes were to the lore. As far as "woke"....where? Where was "Girl Power" or down with the male oppressors? The Star Wars community loves to complain about stuff, but could NEVER make anything better if given the chance.

It wasn't just worse. It was THE worst. Woke garbage more concerned with casting lesbian wives with zero acting chops, gender fluid terminology and a cult of lesbian witches than making good content.
I didn't hate it. I loved the fight scenes. I do think that the plot seemed to fall apart towards the end of the series. I liked the look of the show (the settings and costumes). I liked the cast, especially Manny Jacinto and Lee Jung Jae. As you said, the pacing felt a little off. The scenes with Osha and Mae felt a little off as well. There seemed to be no chemistry. I know it is difficult to have chemistry with yourself when filming both sides separately. It just seemed a little blah. I mean, this was supposed to be one of the central relationships of the series. You are right about the racism. It is sad, but true. Any time I saw someone complain about "woke" I just read it as I want more straight white men in my show.
Thankyou for actually explaining your reasoning for one. Secondly I agree I enjoyed a lot of the same stuff. I however don’t think the plot fell off towards the end, I think it actually got better for me because I was worried in the beginning. In the end they tied everything up pretty nicely and set up for season 2. I do wish that Star Wars shows as a whole would just go for more episodes instead of 6-8 bs. I feel that’s where all the pacing issues originated.

Sol was the best character by far who had no resolution and refused to admit he was wrong in the end. Lore breaking plot holes with the Sith as if the Jedi would just cover it up. The lore was not broken. The Jedi have covered up MANY things in past media so what makes you think they wouldn’t do the same here?!? The shows writing could have been a little stronger, I’ll agree, but that doesn’t mean it was terrible AT ALL! It was some of the best Star Wars we’ve gotten in a long time! Lastly there was resolution with sol if you paid attention. He never forgave himself for what he did and that’s why he told osha that “it’s ok” as she’s killing him! Why would he admit he was wrong if he quite literally said “it was the right thing to do”? You can still feel bad about something you felt was right… Sol’s arc clearly shows the Jedi’s hubris coming to what we saw in the prequels.

Thank you. I was fortunate to just watch the series and avoid all the surrounding discussion so I was very surprised when I finished the series and decided to see what was being talked about online. I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t perfect but it was definitely a lot of fun and I really liked the nods to the extended universe.

Lesley has a clear love for legends material and other lore that Disney has introduced and you can see that throughout the show. If you actually judge the show based off the entirety of the season, which you should anyways, then you’d see that. Judging it off of a single episode is asinine. It’s no different than people who hated the clone wars series Dave filoni made based off the movie and the first few episodes. Folks who gave that a chance saw how good it actually was.

Omg thank you, this was not the best series of all time but it wasn’t bad at all. I see so much hate in this show for themes and story telling that is comparable to almost everything stars wars has put out so far. I commend the show for giving us a different take and showing us what it’s like to be on the “dark,” side of the Star Wars franchise and even the Jedi could be corrupted trying to uphold impossible morals. It’s literally my top 2 fave shows and I’m sad to see it get so much unwarranted hatred. It’s the same energy as how ppl attacked castlevania nocturne

Triple A gaming this gen is a miss but this ain't the worst gen. Its like everyone forgot about the generation that caused the videogame stock market to crash.
