    Good video. After popping the top of the beer, use a can opener (the kind with the handles that you crank around the can) to take the rest of that top of that beer can cleanly.

    I have a Weber Summit Charcoal Grilling Center which is now their Kamado with table. I have a FireBoard system with blower, a Slow and Sear, Vortex and a griddle insert. Does it all. I don’t have much room, but my company will be offering me a taxable anniversary gift. Two of the things I am looking at is a Cuisinart 18 inch vertical smoker. Really want one. The other item I am looking at is a Cuisinart 20 X 20 two burner gas griddle. I am leaning towards the griddle. What do you think? My Kamado already does just about everything but regulate the heart with the griddle insert.

    Hey, it would be very convenient to have that Cuisinart, 20 x 22 burner gas griddle. That on the side that you need faster that don’t need to be smoked.

    I know this is an old video but I really enjoyed it. Throughout the video.... something about you or your environment seemed oddly/soothingly familiar. Then I saw you taking the steaks out of the Woollies packet and figured it out. You're in Australia (like me)! No wonder your surroundings looked so familiar. 😊👍 I'm a massive food-nerd, and Heston is one of the few people in history I idolise. I already wanted one of these.... but your video has helped seal the deal. I'm getting one! Simple, uncomplicated designs are often the best! Thanks for the video brother. 😊👍

    Just found out about this grill thought it seemed great for a family of 3. But looks like the grates don't get hot. The food had zero grill marks, how dies one cross hatch? There was just lines where it touched the grill seems weird that the grates didn't get hot.

    Stopped as you give BBQ’ing a bad name dude. Coals are still black, that’s mistake 1. Prawns on at the same time as steak, that’s mistake 2. Heston would take this back and slap you.

    Hey Dave, I have the same ceramic from prosmoke. Where did you buy the divide and conquer bracket to place a heat deflector. Mine didn't come with one and I've been using one from a Komado Joe but it doesn't fit too well. Any help appreciated.

    What’s your opinion on hydrogenated oils like vegetable oil?

  • @GrillCulture
    @GrillCulture Жыл бұрын

    Thank you for your question. I know they help raise your bad cholesterol and lower your good cholesterol and you can find it in margarine. I don’t have a lot of contact with hydrogenated oil when I’m smoking and grilling so it’s not something that I think about much.

    @@GrillCulture there’s very interesting information on animals fat benefits vs cooking oils /seed oils. You might find it interesting to do a week long test of just animal fats/butter to see how you respond. I am on my second week of snacking on cow butter and only using lard/tallow and I am very satisfied with how i no longer go for sweets and i am fully appreciating the amount of weight i lost because no depending on sweets/carbs.

    We get absolutely ripped off for BBQs here in Oz. I'm currently tied up between a pellet smoker or a kamado. I had a gas bbq, but really gas BBQs might as well be a fry pan inside.

    Never supposed to start with smoke. The meat needs to sweat first smoking starts after an hour. Can even see you didn’t get much smoke into the meat. When you cut it.
