Orlando is a sh*thole
Oregonian here I plan on moving to Orlando in three years. I’m tired of the left wing politics and living in a place where Americans are kind to each other. ❤FL see you soon. I have family in Florida all over and they’re happy. Oregon is very expensive but we are able to live comfortably. Everything is expensive in Oregon especially food and gas.
Well I’ll be the first to welcome you back to America. Been there and it’s nice to be somewhere at least where you aren’t worried and losing rights every year.
How much is car insurance in Orlando?
Too much haha honestly it varies depending on vehicle count and age of those. And your info. But I will tell you after multiple states florida is by far the highest I’ve paid
@@orlandorelocation I currently live in NYC, it can’t be more expensive than here…I hope.
@@DeeDee-mz7kr so I didn't live in New York City, but I grew up 19 years in New York State. I'd say the insurance is higher on average for cars and homes, but the cost of living is significantly less and the taxes are lower.
the pay is trash
Yea pay has not increased in Orlando but heck the whole country isn’t priced right for pay.
Ahh, Orlando my old stomping grounds. My favorite city to live in FL. Moved to Seattle years ago because the heat & lack of seasons & low pay was too much to handle but there’s always a special place for the City Beautiful. Sidenote: the way you say “the 4” instead of I-4, is a dead giveaway you’re from Southern California. Locals will call you out quick for that 😂
Pffff trust me I know haha I have lived in 5 different states so I stand out everywhere at this point lol
I’m leaning more towards Orlando or south Florida because of the beaches I don’t wanna be 2 hours or 30 mins from the beach I want to be able to walk to the beach from my house and I don’t like to party either , and you’re bringing up cost a lot the salary of Miami is higher than Tampa or Orlando so it evens out
Yea if the beach is important to you I recommend a coastal city such as Miami. Orlando is about an hour and a half to a beach depending on you place around the city.
I would check out the St. Pete area where I live now. It think it’s way more chill than any other city and genuinely has the best beaches and rapidly growing economy as well for it’s size. Hard to beat once you visit all the places.
Just don't move there is hot very hot traffic horrible.
Yea it’s hot during the summer and late spring. But someone of us are crazy and don’t mind the heat haha
Wrong the traffic is horrible and not a lot going on here, in terms of things to do.. it's Polk counties arm pit.
Haha that’s one way to describe it.
Miami has all the sports that a winner for me
Growing up in New York they are all the teams mine are rivals with lol
@@orlandorelocation my team is Buffalo bills to lol
@@user-er7yl2hx6x haha awesome! not gonna lie I have yet to go to a Miami game it's on the bucket list
The Chamber of Congress and Tourism Board love this vid and Cameron too!😊☺️💥💕
Pro-tip: If you live or winter in Florida: live on the Coasts no matter what the costs.
Needs maturity.
haha thanks, you should check out the newer vids this was one of my original videos
Just 5? Your way too modest and complementary. But then you ARE an Orlando r.e. agent. Thanks anyway.
Eh everyone hates and loves different things. The summer rain everyday I actually love. Also I try not to make my video too long
My parents just want some place cheap where dad can plant fruit trees and it’s warm all the time with no snow ever and I need to be as close to Disney as possible I will not live in Orlando if I’m not close to Disney
i understand that, davenport can be an affordable area and heading towards clermont you can find some homes with space which would put you not crazy far from disney.
@@orlandorelocation good
Hi! I rely on the transportation system. Do you have any recommendations of places that are close to transit? Thanx.
so orlando doesn't have the best public transport but anything from Kissimmee towards lake mary should place you around the transport you need.
Great video!!!! So informative. I am looking to move in that area in the next couple of months, and this helped a ton! You should have a lot more subscribers. Keep up the good work. 😊
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words
Its the hood 🤣🤣🤣
$400 a month on groceries?? We penny pinch with $1300 a month.
I promise you I’m tired of chicken only at this point haha. But yea I probably eat 1 meal a day that a full meal aside from my kids so we keep it under 1k but it’s been pretty basic for sure given the prices.
I thought Florida was about the beaches
The beach’s are awesome but there is a lot to florida not on the coast.
What’s the best area in Orlando to live in to avoid the traffic issues I have bad ptsd with bad drivers. Looking for homes preferably on the outskirts that range from 400k -600k
You have a lot of options. I’ll cover some here but having many fellow military member with PTSD talking is the best to make sure my help is accurate 407-915-9816. I would encourage you to look clermont, winter garden and north from Orlando towards mt.dora. Stay away from Davenport to Kissimmee where the major Disney traffic is.
I moved back to the Orlando area from Los Angeles and couldn’t be happier. I just bought my dream house in Minneola. This area has so much to offer. I love it!
I found this video incredibly helpful. I’ll be in my new place in Orlando, August 1st. Can’t wait!
Love it!
Can please people stop moving here 🙏 all the little patch of forest there is left is being destroyed for these "homes" that are being built. If the oxygen comes from trees and nomore trees will be left how do more nostrils taking up air supposed to pan out 🤔..does anyone home buyers/sellers/construction worker/contractors all involved in these home development situation know anything about SINKHOLES!? Last 2 things I need to mention while im here 😁 is Haines City's single laned small town roads literally can't take it not built for 3 lanes amount of residents..ok I know it isn't just me like idk where all these people are coming from, but they can't drive 🤦 woww!? Crime is the worst next to West Palm and Miami ..so if you dont want your bike or gas stolen from one of these meth-zombies out here.. Do Not Move To Haines City!!!
Lake Mary FL, Heathrow area was designed, meant 🏘 for wealthy people, retirees, small business members who have $. HOAs & estates are in Seminole County. Is it worth it? It depends, visit the area.
Lake Nona area is growing. Waterford Lakes is +. College Park is ✅️ but the RE prices 2024 are crazy high. New or newer homes are making the area residential places better. Winter Park area is ✅️ too but its not cheap. WP is small, compact. People with $$$ live, work in Winter Park. Its not a slum or has pockets of low income areas. Like Longwood, Maitland, Altamonte Springs FL.
I moved here it's very boring for me it's transportation cuz my seizure I can't drive. It's hard to get work I been applying for 2 yrs orlando is ugly but better jobs market for disabled people. My son is 8 keeps saying it's boring😂😂 only pro very cheap rent
I understand that not having transportation is the real killer in this area. What kind of things is your son into? I have three boys so I get it. I’m always having to keep them occupied lol
I was waiting for it. The “church” BS. Lost me. But he’s right, if youre a right winged, born again, you will be at home. This is coming from a native Floridian. Church next to every McDonald’s.
Sorry you have so much anger towards it. But the area has a place for everyone.
Orlando shockingly is probably the most liberal city in Florida. Yeah there’s churches everywhere (I mean it’s still FL) but it’s not intertwined in the culture compared to cities like Jacksonville, Pensacola or Tallahassee. As someone who’s not religious at all, when I lived in Orlando, East Orlando to be specific, there wasn’t really a pressure to go to Church like in other Southern cities and I had Jewish, Muslim & Hindi friends that never felt uncomfortable moving around the city. FL as a whole is pretty Right Wing, Born Again full of Conservative vibes, but the major cities (minus Jax) offer a bit more of a deep purple balance.
thinking of moving from Ontario,Canada to Florida. We have two young kids so want low crime and good school area, leaning towards Sarasota right now
Awesome Sarasota can be a great place! Let me know if you need help with anything! We have many friends from Canada, who absolutely love it here
Be prepared for extremely high insurance, property tax and health insurance. You'd better do your research. By the way, the public school system in Florida is among the lowest in the country and so is the quality of Healthcare. You're in for a big culture shock too
@@bdml77 thanks for the input. Yes we're still in the research phase and all the stuff you brought up are definitely important things we're taking into consideration before a decision is made. I hear a lot of people bring up Health Care in Florida and I get a lot of mixed perspectives as well as the quality of education
Thanks for the info
As a African American. I hear the latino population is roughly 70%. Will it be difficult to meet people without due to language barriers
no not at all. I am white as they come lol No even being married into a Hispanic family I can tell you language barrier or not the people in the greater Orlando area are some of the best I have ever met, this includes everyone. Sure there are bad eggs but I can promise you that you will find your place here as we all do!
Thinking about moving to kissimmee. Is downtown kissimmee good for a 50 year old single man
Can be! I wouldn’t call it the best downtown but the whole Kissimmee area should give you many options for people to meet and stuff tondo
Ehhh. I’m not a fan of Florida. Born in Miami. Currently live in Lake Worth/WPB area and I can’t wait to move back to the west coast. That feels more like home than over here for me. I can’t stand the bugs and humidity
Totally get it! Was stationed on the west coast and it had its own life style and vibe. It’s just great we can have so many different places to live in one country
If you own a pool at $250 for the summer months because you’re gonna run that poor at least 10 hours instead of 8 to 6 in the winter with the winter you’re gonna end another $140 if your not heating the pool to the electric bill and Davenport and Haines city
moved here last August...glad I found your channel, still exploring.
Happy to help! Always feel free to reach out
Lake Berkley with the big lake view...

can be a great community! I Find those who move here either love it or hate it! But feel free to reach out and I can guide you better.
I definitely will do!!! 👍🏼
County commissioners are in the back pockets of the big money developers - they destroyed this place. It used to be an old Florida town with a laid back southern vibe. Now its a cesspool of disrespectful yankees and 3rd worlders.
Thank you so much for this video. Im planning to move to Orlando within a year, and this is extremely helpful. You have a new subscriber.

We moved to Haines city about a year ago. Bought a new build. Definitely ALOT of new construction out here.. now hoping for more businesses to come. I think you’re right on with your assessments. A lot of growth here.
It’s within the fastest growing areas in the us! But I agree hopefully we get more businesses to enter the area.

Show us some
Some what?
We are in Dover DE looking into Florida and the pollen is like that here too coats everything
Yea it’s the best time of year lol
Thanks for the great 👍 info
youre welcome!
BVL: When I got on Statefarm when I moved back to FL (I was in MD for 17 years and had GEICO,) the insurance guy said if we had moved to BVL, the insurance rate would've been even higher just due to the high rate of insurance fraud. Fun fact: GEICO literally wanted 3x the amount of $$$ for the EXACT, UNCHANGED, full-coverage plan- from $60/month to $300/month. This was in 2012. I had to leave them when we moved to area code 34744. This area has higher insurance rates for vehicles and homes. It's something people need to be aware of if moving to the area. Hunter's Creek and the Loop are technically in south Orlando, the north side of Osceola parkway. I love that area. ❤️ Developers keep building and building, and our cows and fields are disappearing. We're full. 😩
This was pretty helpful. I'm looking to move to Orlando next year and I'm an ELA middle school teacher. My biggest concern is finding a new school to teach at that'll support me as a teacher. I want to find a school I'll feel comfortable working at. I've worked at two private schools in the past and also a charter school. I have eight years experience. I wish you could make a video of some sort of polling where teachers are happy working at in orlando.
I’m glad you found it helpful! I see what you mean about the polling video. I’ll have to see how I could do that accurate style of video.
You gotta see what is expensive here in California. Even Temecula and Murrieta is pretty expensive because all the people from LA and San Diego moving here. A small house now is up to $680.000!
haha I know, my mother in law lives in san marcos in san diego county. 2 home sold near her half the size of your average Florida home for 840K. Was stationed in san diego for years.
It’s an Asian massage parlor mecca
Hahaha you’ve never been to the west coast then. This comment made me laugh though I love it.
I love Orlando Florida so much, I want to live there! I'm so thankful I watched this video because I've learned the Pros and Cons about living in Orlando Florida. One thing I want to be aware of is the hurricane, Insurance for the rent, and putting gas for my car before I deal with traffic. I miss Disney World Animal Kingdom so much! I haven't been there since 2011 and I would like to work for them as a Zookeeper to make a lot of money or become a millionaire because it is beautiful there. I could also enjoy and spend time at the Swimming pool, Roller Coasters and watching the parade at Magic Kingdom. I additionally want to move to Orlando or Kissimmee Florida because I've been dreaming about this since I was a kid and I'm looking forward to it for the future!
Been here in clermont since I was born I’m 35 now, and I’m getting pushed out of my own hometown because they will not stop building, houses that are built like shit are going for 350k plus, no more orange groves, I didn’t appreciate it when I was younger since we never had anything to do but man do I miss it, clermont use to be so beautiful and an actual small town, people can’t drive around here, it’s crowed like roaches everywhere, sadly I’m probably gonna have to leave and move to howie or Webster, clermont is not the same anymore.
I understand. I grew up in a small town and that isn’t even that small any More. So many hidden gems are growing faster than can be handled. What’s weird is taking trips to see my dad some of those towns near the mountains are actually losing people due to not enough work. Clermont use to be amazing with orange groves.
You can blame local officials (many who are not even from Florida). They've rezone the land to cater to big developers because they're in the back pockets of them. It's a shame what's happening to this beautiful state. Imagine a nice beautiful orange grove or cattle ranches, only to be replaced by cardboard housing jammed up and then filled with a bunch of loud mouthed, rude and disrespectful yankees. Let's not even mention the 3rd worlders planting their ugly flags everywhere 🤢
Great video thank you I am looking to move there in one year ❤
