How do you get them to grow so big most of the ginger I see people growing are pretty small compared to yours
Nice harvest🍀
What plant is this?
Why is it called grass jelly. Why not leaf jelly or vine jelly? Therenis no grass in it.
You never shown how it got to that point in the first place
Looks great.
Aku udah tanam di Mareeba QLD setahun lalu bang. Hampir tiap hari selalu bikin
Great.. ini juga bisa jadi alternative buat anak2 kalau susah makan sayur 😊
It seems common in tropical countries but I can't find here in the Philippines
thank you for the video …where can i get the plant from? or seeds? i’m in the bay area and trying to procure this so i can grow at home
Thank you for watching. Where do you live? This plant popular in south east asia countries. In Indonesia called Cincau Hijau. In English Grass Green Jelly Leaves. Usually home nursery sell them.
@@ThatIndoGuy I'm in Northern California and have a hard time finding this plant. I will take the English name to nurseries and ask.
@@jsyoung7162 botanical name for this is Tiliacora Triandra. Here's the wiki page on the plant en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiliacora_triandra
wow thank you for sharing!
Thanks for dropping by
Good information
😮 This is not grass. I'm from the USA, we call these leaves? What's the name of leaves?
Grass jelly is what we call the dessert, not literally grass. There are 2 types of grass jellies, black and green. The botanical name for the leaves I used here is Tiliacora triandra
This is not grass😮 I'm confused 🤔
It is called Grass Jelly, it comes in Green and Black variety. This is how natural Jello was made back in the old days before we have food chemicals.
Lol I make this 3x a week. But rather than store bought syrup I make my own pandan syrup. Or I just use honey. Surprisingly the people who don’t like veggies still love this
Ooo PANDAN nice!
Terimakasih banyak kawanku yg sudah bagikan cara mudah untuk bikin minum cincau segar Dan anak
50g leaves and 700ml water? Terimakasih banyak ya
Iya. Tapi kalo mau lebih kenyal. Air boleh kurangin sedikit.
Thank you my friend!
Thanks for watching 🙂
amazing big. tooth brush smart
Nice
Thank you for this recipe and the tips. I just made 3 batches today. Can't wait to eat.
Thank you for watching. Enjoy the refreshing drink 😊
Nice harvest :) Are you in Indonesia btw?
Thank you. I am from Indonesia but have been living in Australia for the past 10 years.😊
Thank you, I just bought Bunnings Garden Basics 25L Garden Soil Mix for my vegetable garden. How did plants grow in that soil?
I don't usually use garden basics or any of these on their own. Mix in some compost with handfulls of blood and bones. So far plants are happy and we've had continuous abundant yield of harvest from different plants.
Whats this leaves can I have the name of this
It's called Green Grass Jelly Vine, also known as Tiliacora Triandra
@@ThatIndoGuy thanks
Richgro has become so barky recently.
Hi, I blend the leaves in food processor , then strain, but the jello never sets. Same ratio of water to leaves. what am i doing wrong?
I can think of 2 things. Try use a blender rather than food processor. The other thing is your leaves to water ratio. I used 750-800ml of water with 50gr leaves.
JUST GET TO THE POINT.
you have a wonderful house <3
Thank you
Hi.. I love grass jelly and I would like to grow them. Do you sell the seeds?
Where do you live? I'm in Perth, Western Australia. I got my seedling from a sunday market nearby.
Saya ada bibitnya asli dr Indonesia Bisa saya kirim

terima kasih sudah mampir

@@ThatIndoGardener welcome sir
Useful info. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
subscribed! can't wait to see what other things you grow.
Thanks for the sub!
Great Harvest. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
How long did it take to grow that big? And do you have holes in your styrofoam box?
10 months. Sow in Spring. Harvest in Winter when the leaves turn yellowish. Yes, there are a few holes at the base. Stay tune on the channel. I'll make the planting video too in the future.
Amazing👍
Thanks 😄
How long did it take to harvest?
10 months
I didn't harvest ginger in time and they are in soil now in the rain, what to do? thanks!
If you don't harvest them in time it's okay. The rhizome will turn become old ginger. Wait until the soil not too wet. Much easier to harvest. Otherwise the soil will sticky to the rhizome. Where are you located? Does it frost where you are?
Amazing video sir!!❤
Thanks for sharing your video
Thanks for watching!

can you sent me a ginger ?
That is an amazing harvest!!! Well done! Looking forward to your other videos!
Thank you for sharing this, it was very helpful. Could you please share how you grow them and what soil mix you use? And your area/ climate zone please? I have struggled with this in the past, very hot clay soil here. Thank you.
Thank for watching Michelle. I'll do the planting video in the future. Rich soil is the key. I'm in Perth. Subtropical zone. Where is your location?
@@ThatIndoGardener Tamworth NSW cool temperate
I think you still can grow them when the weather getting warmer. Need 8 months to get that size. About the soil, just need to be in rich soil and well drain. Keep on growing 😊
so to grow ginger should i buy ginger and put pieces as soil. is it that simple or is there more
You can buy ginger plant or you also can grow from rhizome. As long the rhizome fresh (not dry / shrivel).
Appreciated that you sped up the film for the more repetitive parts of the process so that the whole process is show quickly and clearly . That ginger looks superb too so healthy . Thanks for sharing .
Great, David…. I love about planting. So I immediately subs your youtube channel. 😍
