Intramuros was Occupied by The Americans way back at 1898 to 1940 when World War II Startd... San Agustine Church was One of the Oldest Church in the Philippines Oldest Church would be at Cebu where Spanish First Came 40yrs After 1521 when Magellan was Killed... and stayed there for 10yrs Before they Came at June 24, 1571 when they Invaded Manila However the One who Lead the Invasion Miguel Lopez de Legazpi was Burried and have a Tomb inside San Agustine Church... Too bad the Museum was Closed during your Visit... Manila Cathedral was the 2nd Oldest Church but it was the Center of the Catholic Church back then its the Mini Vatican since that was the House of the Cardinal... The Two Other Buildings Outside the Church was Palacio Del Governador Build for Miguel Lopez the Legazpi and all the Suceeding Governors Before him... and Accross the Newly Renovated Building called Ayuntamiento the House or Office of the Mayor who was First Occupied by Antonio De Moraga from Mexico... That Building was just Renovated back from 2013 from its Ruined when it was Destroyed back at 1945.... Manila Cathedral was Renovated Back at 1950 Finished at 1953 since it was Totally Destroyed back at 1945... The Only Original Place on the Church was the Catacomb that was Expose After the War... Forth Santiago was One of the Former Palace of Raja Soliman the Nephew of the Orignal Ruler of Manila Raja Matanda and Lakan Dula Equivalent of a Duke of the Ancient Kingdom of Tondo... Before the War there are Numbers of Churches inside Intramuros for the Augustinians Franciscan and Dominicans... The Churches was Errected from the Old Palaces of our Ancestor who are Members of the Nobility... Intramuros was the Center of Power during the Pre Colonial Era and during the Spanish Era... Outside Intramuros the Old Churches was also the Old Palaces to show to Our Ancestors the Dominance of the Conquiscador... you may Wonder the Distance of the Churches all over Manila... some are not farther than 1Km Apart... vs the Old Population?? You may Wonder why there are so Many Huge Churches Outside the Walls?? Simply because those are Markers of the Old Palaces... since the Old Palaces that was Made of Hardwood is also the Worship Place of our Ancestors... The Raja or the Datus often Facilitate Worship inside their Palaces for their Subjects House Members and their Own Family Members... Commoners are the One who Stayed Outside while Direct Members of the House are the ones who are inside the Palace... On which is why During Sunday Masses there are Many People Attending the Mass Outside the Church Grounds... People from Luzon are Not Muslims way Back at 1500's they Observe Hinduist and Nasran Practices... Most of the Women do not Like to have their Children Converted into Muslim and they Volunteered to have them Converted into Catholic instead... Since the Former Ruler of Tondo ans Manila is Dayang Kalangitan who was Originally from Namayan a Mandala inside the Tondo Empire consist of Old Towns inside Manila and Metro Manila... Too Bad the Tok Tok Driver is having a Hardtime Explaining Things... because they are not Offical Tour Guides but they have Been Oriented by our National Tourisim Councils... Where you are Staying Mandaluyong is one the Ancient Place under Namayan... Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Pasay, Taguig, are Original Names and they are Bodies of Waters... The Center or Namayan was at "Sapa" now Known as Sta Ana one of the District of Manila where I live its Near at Mandaluyong One Barangay at Mandaluyong still Retain the Name of Namayan... Regarding Jollibee they are Giving Tons of Tissue Paper I do not know why they did not Give you... you should ask on the Counter Hope you Find our Country Interesting and see you on your Future Bloggs... 😊😊😊😊

People from Kerala don't beg. The begger s are people from other States of India. Kerala is fare and rare comparatively from the rest of Indian States. Don't extend anything to beggers, when you do that you re responsible for creating them. Remember the Mafia behind kidnap kids and mutilate them begging so please don't, you can extend fod only

Good parents Feed the kids with meal (Meat and Veggies) and rice which is normal Philippine 🇵🇭 Food (Asian Mothers or Parents can make the kids any food even if by use of the Force) But from time to time it's ok other foods but if they only eat Nachos that is just bad, nutritionally

I think you guys don't need a tour guide since already in English which saves you money with tour guide your always in hurry. It's much better without those tour guides they ruined your time if I travel i like to take my time relax without those tour guides it's annoying. That tour guide is HORRIBLE! he just comes to your family to make quick bucks. There are tour guides in Philippines that treat you better or tour Bus is much better than that cheap tour scam.
