Girl what are you talking about that does not look ugly.
Great content Alex. Very calming to watch.
Thank you. Theres more to come
I always liked the styling of these bikes. Probably one of my favorite twins of all time.
It rides really well, footpegs are high as you would expect. I too like the looks, it’s different but also every part of the aero is functional
Nice, calm unhurried video. But when she's running on the open road, it'll be difficult not to hurry!
I can not wait to show you how well the 999s runs. I thought I’d take it to California SuperBike School, so need to pop some new belts on 🔧
I started riding 900 i.e. and I fell in love with it. Hopefully i will be able to achive at least 50% beauty like this. Looks amazing!
@@mikolashyk1 do us an video sometime and comment the link, would love to see your Ducati
Ciao, è meglio 15 w50 oppure quello che hai messo tu 5 w40?
Stay to BMW’s recommendation. The rating is to maintain the best life of your engine. Although the 50w rating is batter the 15w rating is worse.

Thanks alot! I really needed to see how you handled those oil carbs, such a funny fix for heated carbs.
@@Subliminal3117 Thanks for the comment
Really nice video. I'm always impressed by your ability to film with one hand and be a careful mechanic with the other one.
@@JamesWarrior Weird to see the oil so black but yeh bike had a lot of warm ups before I bought it, like weekly so maybe super rich then shut off. Looking forward to its next oil change to see if it’s improved
You a numpty to think that
Haha, Nice to see you "Run It In" for 80 miles before max revs. Numpty.
@@stevie764 BSA were saying the engines are pre-run in because they used modern manufacturing. Still a rubbish ride. When owners are putting a £50 pair of rear shocks on the bike and exclaiming “it’s transformed the handling” 😂
It's not a ZXR400R though, is it?
Moto! Look more carefully. This is actually a Mahindra. It wears borrowed BSA tank badges. It weighs 470 lbs. If you are an experienced motorcyclist this last detail is all you need to know.
Beautiful bike !
Thank you!
Can I have the belly pan, please!
@@Miniorpernik it will go with the bike when I sell it. Yo!
So was the float without a pin ?is that why it was sluggish?
@@rockymtnnut it was the emulsion tubes, they were for a Yamaha! Crazy
A dirty filter filters better until it starts by-passing. So people who change the oil quite often, only need to change the filter, every other time…
I'll be honest. You sound like a new rider as most of the issues you pointed out could have been identified before you bought the bike. The engine at 80 miles has not been broken in, so you are not gonna have full power because you need to slowly wear the parts in until the new service. This is not a good review, fella. It's harsh to hear, but, hopefully, it helps you to think more about what you are going to address after researching the said issues. Also, read the manual that comes with your bike. It makes a difference. Wish you all the best for the future.
Im all good. Be nice if you made a video on a BSA, see your thoughts. Its clear this bike failed to have any PDI, the gauges on the wheel rum were from tyre irons for sure. Boot marks on the exhaust, paint flaking off. I actually filmed a second part to this video which is three months on, ill get around to it.
That was great. I don't have your skills as a mechanic but if I were doing an oil and filter change on a similar bike, I know I'd be in safe hands following this video.
I can’t believe it is such a loooong video. Really enjoyed working on the CB760 and regretted using such a small funnel and made such a mess 😂
Its a JIS screw head, which is why a regular PH2 doesn't really cut it
I like to mix things up a bit. See who notices and see who doesn’t

i have same bike but it does 170+mph, have only akrapovic exoust and soft clutch, if this is 139hp how this can go only 155mph?
I never got to ride it. The new owner loved the video and bought the bike. It’s now up country living its best life
Great looking bike.
It’s great to ride. Thanks. Just timing it down before letting it go back to Yellow later in the Summer
Not a fan of allt the carbon fiber. The rear mud guard was a good change but the cowl and the front fender look better in yellow.
Just wanted to tone the bike down. Lots of Yellow had me wearing sunglasses to look at it.
Audio is really bad, your voice comes in really low and i have to raise my volume and then your tools blow up my speakers.
I’m working on it, new mic ordered
Ughhh, no thanks
I actually like it. It looks cool.
I talked to the folks at Royal Enfield. It’s got real potential and they are proud of it. The engineering is undeniable
@@MotoTingle ooh, I thought it was just made for publicity. I'll be very interested in a test ride.

Have you had any issues with the water pump? Some of the early models the water pump went bad between 3K miles and 8K miles.
No issues with the water pump
What a journey!
It’s been an adventure
I bought one 😅
The expander plug is not the small screw. It is a separate plug on the left of the crankcase behind the alternator. I've had mine removed by the dealership and they showed me the instructions for the procedure too, so I am sure.
That’s great. Link me to it please
@@MotoTingle I've only seen it on their PC, the documents are for the service shops and they don't share them.
@@Milen4u I’ll contact my local service centre
I had the same problem with my 98 Monster, it was fouling the spark plugs. I read on a forum that it can be the high octane fuel, I changed to 91 and haven't had a problem since. Love your patience 😊
That's awesome
Looks like you forgot the drain plug washer. I didn´t see it and the screw should be plain with the oil pan.
I did mention it in the description
That's very sexy.
Sorry mate, but I’m not sure you can be riding the bike right. I’ve got a Triumph Rocket III Roadster that’s been modified for 226Nm of torque and I rode the BSA just this weekend and had zero issues overtaking cars?
So it’s me? Interesting. Can’t possibly be the BSA at fault?
@@MotoTingle no idea bud, but I literally got off my Rocket which is 0-60 in 3 seconds and jumped on and test rode a new BSA and I didn’t notice it lacking any power, quite the opposite in fact, I was surprised at the torque. I took it out onto a 60mph country road, was in forth gear and there was a woman doing 40mph and I pulled the throttle back and overtook her no issues whatsoever.
@@ironlionmotorcycles which leads me to think this bike was in a bad way. It was used shortly after me by an influencer who waxed lyrical about it being so good. The bike ended up back at Lukas and was stripped for parts as they were in need of warranty parts. My point in the video was about how bad this bike was. I’ve been contacted by many other owners that have bikes exhibiting the same issues, low power, damaged rims, headlight lenses cracking. So I collated issues. I’ve then used this work to help owners achieve warranty when Lukas previously rejected them. I’m still doing my bit today. 4 year warranty but nobody’s allowed to talk about the warranty rejections
@@MotoTingle maybe it was that specific bike then mate? Genuinely the one I rode surprised me. I jumped on it remembering your review and was totally ready for it to feel extremely underpowered and it wasn’t in any way. At no point did it feel like it was running out of steam, I was impressed.
Brilliant work off art. I'm not a lover of yellow, yet I'd happily own and ride this bike.
It is very cool
Professional numpty..
Hi have you any link to a windshield for the f900r? Thankyou
It’s by Puig.
In the US, our pumps usually have a label stating something like: "May contain up to 10% Ethanol." I'm not certain how the ethanol content impacts the price the supplier pays for the fuel, or whether or not they make more profit from less or more ethanol. But I'm certainly OK with less ethanol than claimed. IMO, the stuff is one big gaslighting campaign to support corn producers.
So did you use the original emulsion tubes Have yamaha fzr250r with carb issues
I used the non fluted new tubes, the fluted tubes originally found in these cards were for a Yamaha
can i take off the pannier seat cover to have a usable seat ? are handlebars lower; pegs higher ; for a more UN-comfy ride ?
Yes you can take the seat cover off. Pegs have not moved. Handlebars are lower.
Thanks for this. I like to put a piece of aluminium foil over the catalytic/exhaust to help keep it from getting oily. Not required, just me being a neatnik. 😅
Great tip!
I'm interested to get one
Somewhere a Yamaha is 😭
😂😂😂
Nice video, thanks. What is the make of the test tube you use, it would be handy to have one.
Look for ethanol testing kit online. Its name etc is on the box shown on the video at the start. Yo!
