Love it!!! Great show!! Jacky Jack is a Class Act!!
Sorry for the loss of your friend. It was a great you got to film this episode to share his talent and love for music with others❤ God’s timing😉
Thank you for your comment, this episode is very special to us. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great video 🎶🎸🎉
This is probably the best interview I’ve ever seen. I love what his wife adds to the story. A true family of faith. James has had some serious health issues in the last couple years. So glad he is doing well. You can judge a man by those who consider him a friend!🎸 This was awesome!
Thank you for watching, please follow us, like & share.
To make a long story short as a kid I was raised in an ultra religious household an wasn’t allowed to listen to any secular music unless it was traditional gospel hymns etc. When I turned eighteen my dad told me that I could listen to what I wanted in the confines of my room if I kept the volume down. At the time it was Am/Fm stero with a cassette (which was broke) a record player. With money I got from grass cutting I went to flea markets an bought old records. Never forget, the first album I got was James Burton and Ralph Mooney Corn Picking and Slick Sliding. Had no idea who Burton was but I loved it. I started learning those licks on my guitar. Started getting the early Merle Haggard stuff an learned all the stuff James did on those albums. To this day I still use all that in my playing. Later I was turned on to other great players in the jazz, an Western Swing/ country genres but for me it all started with James Burton.
What an amazing man,and his wife is a sweet heart, what a life he's had truly gifted by God himself,ROCK ON Mr BURTON
looking forward to the Granada Theater in Dallas.
And that's why we love YOU!
Tony this is so good…😊
Love this band! ❤
Been a follower since the mid 90’s … “ on a bad night they’ll tear the roof off the place on a good night they’ll save your soul”!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🐐🐐

Wonderful Episode, , Well, , it’s high time I check out some “Iron Maidens” Videos now, , 🎸🔥
Just listened to "funny how time slips away" recorded by elvis and instantly became a fan of this man.
Great Guy! Amazing musician. Loved seeing him at City Walk. Thanks for the upload. RIP Fred
What an extraordinary life James has lived. He definitely lived the kind of life most men only dream of.
Freddy King was probably not even included in that list and he influenced all of them, he's the greatest of these guitarists. But James Burton is very great, very nice solos and rhythm.
Thank you for this. I was one of Fred's Pastors and friends. He was a great man, I miss him so very much.
Thank you so much Tony, great episode…
Thank you for sharing your gift with us and I look forward to having you on again in the future!!!

I saw these guys over a decade ago when I was in my early twenties. Me, and two friends showed and we'd never heard of them before. We had an absolute blast at this show. I still think about that concert to this day.
Nice to see James so Sharp and Healthy. Well done. Dude’s been everywhere Man.
Great job Hannah!
Tony this is such a great set…😊👏❤️
Great musicians!!!
I'd rather go to see these ladies play Iron Maiden than the original Iron Maiden.
I saw them when they came all the way to Alaska!
I know you saw a great show that night!!! Hope you enjoyed the episode!!!
Love it!! Great job.
Thank you buddy
Really interesting! Learned several new facts and enjoyed "the lesson". Thank you!

@@tonysbackstagepass1314 yes sir I’ll watch more !
how nice would it be to have a guy like Tom Weber looking after your equipment. I'll never know but I'm sure it's a nice feeling.
You and me both, but we can dream!!!
I dont know guitars but am gaining knowledge and respect for all involved. Tony you can relate to all lovers of music. Thanks
Wonderful Interviews with both Kevin & Tom, , Nice that Kevin tries to include local Artists in his programming, , wish I could hear his Radio Station but I’m a bit too far West of him, , I also love Tesla, , saw them open for Def Leppard and they great , , Now how COOL would it be to be the Guitar Tech for Neal Schon and EVH ? Just Wow, , Tom seems like such an intelligent nice fellow, , his description of setting up those 2 EVH Guitars “as he thought he might like them”, , impressive, , You are such a friendly at ease Interviewer Tony 👍
Thank you buddy
Dude...the best episode yet!!

I love this interview with Fred!
I only started playing guitar after hearing James Burton playing with Elvis Presley, I even bought the personalized red guitar, phenomenal tone Brazil 🇧🇷
All drummers should aspire to be the showman that Fred is.
Saw you the first time in Knoxville on the Riverfront in 1990 when my ex-husband introduced me to the "experience" of CM show. I've lost count of how many shows I've seen since - at least 20. And I still feel the same excitement and anticipation every single time. It's a combo rock & roll show, therapy session, cardio workout and group hug. Rock & Roll church at its' finest! See you guys in Nashville in June! 🥁🎵🎸🎤
Cant wait to see them again... June in Nashville
I'll be there, too! I've lost count of how many CM shows this will make...
Great interview! I've been fortunate enough to experience Cowboy Mouth live dozens of times since 1997. Still the best live show I've ever witnessed. I tell people it's more of a really loud group therapy session than a "concert."
Hahahaha - "loud group therapy..." That's perfect!
Thank you for watching 😊
Great interview!
Cowboy Mouth is the greatest Live Show in Rock n Roll.
Yes they are, Thank you for watching 😊
@@tonysbackstagepass1314 Great interview
He looks like a fat Richard Christie (who by the way is a fucking badass drummer)
LeBlanc's Rock
great show Tony
James Burton took Elvis over the hump two. Great lead guitar men dc
Great show Tony...looking forward to the next one!!
Thank you 😊
Want me some of those "maters" as my granny would say. And Jacky Jack is the real deal. 😊
