We are going to Aunt Arctica in December on the osterdam dam 22 days. You're on a great ship I'm it's a fun shift to be on Glad you're enjoying yourself.
Going on our 2nd Holland cruise to Alaska. I'm not sure we would be comfortable anywhere else. We are in our 70's and love the relaxed atmosphere without all the chaos of large crowds. Everything we perfection. Only thing changing is the ship....first time the Noordam, next May the Nieuw Amsterdam!!!!
Womderful video and just to add a spicy comment for the alien ending for Acropolis and Parthenon...Did you know?... The columns of Parthenon are made of pieces that are stuck one on top of the other...ok makes sense ... BUT the big thing here is that the the way the pieces have been cut create a surface that is so precisely flat that only lasers can accomplish 😉😉 Now, another fact is that the stairs of Parthenon have been designed and structured in such a way so to not be 100% geometrically correct, meaning that they are not straight flat but curve in the middle. The reeasin behind this design "imperfection" was to create the illusion to the eyes that are flat following the sttacture shape of the Parthenon, while if they where indeed structured flat, they would look curved to the eye😉😉 More great details? Yes there are plenty!!! And please look for the Temple of Apollo Epicurius, the Partenon of Peloponnese, by architect Iktinos, the man who designed Partenon and which temple rotates 1 degree so to always stay aligned to North Star. Magnificent monument!!!! And possibly fully renovated by now.❤❤

We've been on over a dozen cruises, and Holland America has become our favorite. The food is always excellent, and the staff are the friendliest and most professional of any cruise line we have embarked on. I like that they focus on the quality of the shore excursions, and less on go kart tracks on board. They are head and shoulders above any other line for Alaska cruises.
Oh - and Pinnacle Grill is amazing.
OMG W e were on the SAME CRUISE as you guys!!! Left from fort lauderdale on Sun. April 7th 2024, and returned on Sat the 13th. Even saw some people we knew on the ship in your video!! Thx for sharing!! Tim & Mark 😊😊😊

Subscribed: I enjoyed your energy and descriptions of everything. It looked like a fantastic journey & adventure. The shore excursion to the Mayan ruins looked awesome. I agree about booking excursions thru the cruise line, just for that kind of mishap. The bartenders fixing your smokey drink were having way too much fun. -- I've been on 10 HAL cruises already with another coming up. They have always done us right.

I have been on five Holland America cruises, so far they have all been chartered music cruises. I’ve been on other cruises as well and I think Holland America’s food is the best. Most recent sailing had one or two misses. I also felt that the food had way too much salt. And my feet swelled up. I will be going on another chartered cruise early in 2025 with them and then finally on a regular Panama Canal cruise in 2026. I really thought that you were gonna give them a bad review that it wasn’t for you.
Greece, the place to be for vacation! My favorite (have visit already 29 countries) Great food, great weather, amazing people, best clean beaches! I love Greece!! 🇬🇷

The New York Deli is the best kept secret. Yep they do pizza and sandwiches and salads and even desserts BUT in the morning they have cereal and omelets and bacon and eggs and coffee and orange juice. And you will probably have the place to yourself. The lido is great but the Deli is our morning spot.
Looks like you enjoyed yourselves. We did our first HAL cruise in 2015 and are now waiting for our 4 star mariner status. We have had nothing but good times onboard. Two hard working people that the minute we board are treated like royalty. We love them, they love us. Those crew members go above and beyond every hour.

This year will be my second cruise aboard Holland America. Both cruises aboard the Westerdam. I booked this second cruise on Holland America is due to the great cruise I had last year. The food is unbeatable. The excursions wee great. Save for one in Juneau. I have no regrets. This second cruise is to do some of the things I missed last year. I will be celebrating my 75th birthday on this cruise.

Hooked was Awful on Wonder of the Seas last month. I was looking forward to the lobster roll and it was a joke. Extremely disappointing with other dishes that others in our group had. Never again!
We have heard that the flavor tends to vary from crew to crew. Hate that it was not a good experience for you.
