I've been to over 30 countries.. some by cruise line and some by direct flight in, and Greece was hands down my favorite country. The people were extremely friendly.I didn't get followed around the stores in the tourist areas, and the food and wine museum/tasting was absolutely amazing. And to top it off off...the views, the sunsets...wow. Best birthday ever. I tried to tip my driver, and he refused it. That's unheard of! Your vlog bought back so many memories! Excellent as usual!❤

Yup! Everyone we met was super hospitable and friendly. Our drivers wouldn’t let us tip either. We told all the drivers we had to get something for their family 🥰

If you are still in Greece come visit Volos. It is a beautiful town built under the shadow of Pelion the mountain of Centaurus. It has all the benefits of an island but it is never so grounded with tourists as it has so many destinations to explore and so many great beaches to enjoy.

Yup. We almost considered walking but our photographer said he didn’t mind the wait for us to take the cable car. So glad we didn’t 😂

A Greek here: there are so many efforts to ban the use of donkeys for the transportation of humans (It is exploitation, cruelty and animal abuse) or excessive weight. People can walk the stairs or use the cable. And this is for tourists coming on cruises. Santorini also has a commercial port, and tourists can take cars/buses/taxis from there.

The Uber from Fira to the restaurant was maybe a 10 minute ride. And from the restaurant back to the tram was maybe another 10 minutes 👍🏾

We were in Santorini one week ago and did not ride the donkeys. During our trip planning I had watched videos of how cruel the handlers are. Shameful. Also, on board the Resilient Lady I heard it mentioned. We did a Shore Thing to Oia by bus. On the way back we rode the cable cars back down to Fira port. I noticed going down there were NO donkeys carrying tourists at all on the stairs. On the descent I saw all of the donkeys gathered in one area. This was awesome to see because everyone was heeding the pleas. Spread the word if you're ever in Santorini.

GREEK HOSPITALITY…..this is not the only thing we offer …..sun …sea..amazing food …islands….EVERYONE IS WELCOME ❤❤❤❤

14 trips to Santorini. Worth it every time and all the money I have spent there. My first visit was by cruise ship in 1979 when I was 15. Since then I have seen every change thag has taken place on the island. For its sake I hope they start restricting the numbers of tourists visiting and further build up of areas around the main centres. It is starting to lose its identity. Wish it was more greek like it used to be too.

Good question! We are travel agents so sometimes there is a discount. But we generally pay for all our travel and less we specifically say that it is hosted or sponsored. Which are totally different by the way. But also Terry still has a corporate office job 😊 but we generally plan out what we want to do in the year and save accordingly 🤗
