Sorry but…jealous. 🤷🏻♀️
The sound of your horn reminded me ( for the umpteenth time ) to shop for a replacement horn for my 2018 Chevy Express. To say it sounds anemic would be an understatement. Also, my sister says I'm paranoid when I tell her to be aware of her surroundings, I just tell her she's naive. Gets a little quiet after that. 😂
Yes, get it fixed 😝 yeah, always better safe than sorry 🤗
THANK YOU ❤👍
My pleasure🐞🙌🏼
Morning dee I've just been hacked and cloned had to get uk fraud line involved be careful
Oh dear. Thanks for the heads up!😬
I used to be a over the road truck driver, used to get knocks on the side of the truck at night, nothing wake’s you up quicker than sleeping in a something that sounds like your in a barrel. 🛢
Yep! Like an echo chamber 😝
Thanks for the video, great tips.
Glad it was helpful!💃🏻
Thx for these helpful advices.
My pleasure!😊
Yikes! Had similar experience in our campervan. I slept soundly and my husband mentioned hearing a freight train during the night. Lifted the window blinds and wondered why there were branches against it. Went outside and found a pine tree had fallen and the top branches were lying against window!! Other campers came out and said they'd run into the concrete bathroom because of the tornado!! We had no clue. Thank goodness for our guardian angels.
Oh no! 😬 crazy that you slept through it😝
That´s okay, I like your big mouth, white teeth and pretty smile, it makes the show.
Thanks!
Haha energy balls! I used to make a not so healthy version of your energy balls for my kids (and I) for our daily excursions, but we called them Scooby snacks! For the kids out there who don’t wanna be so healthy… Creamy Peanut Butter Confection Sugar Crunched cereal like Cheerios Optional (raisins or chocolate chips). 😘 Cream & Roll that mix into smal balls and roll in more sugar. 😋😋😋. Kid fav
Scooby snacks!!! I remember those 😝
Wow, Dee! Great safety tips. Thank you. Looking forward to your upcoming series.😊
You are so welcome, Tom! 💃🏻
Oh man, i would have been laughing too. Im the type that can’t help but laugh as I help someone up (if they’re ok). You should have put that in slow-mo at the end! Super glad you’re ok and had fun!
Hahahah that would be funny in slow mo 😜
A precious memory made and shared. One which you will recall for many years Thank you Dee
It was indeed!!!
Pepper spray is a great choice but be mindful of the direction of the wind.
Yes!!! 😜
Dear Dee all good tips and looking forward to your series ..have a great weekend and as always be careful and safe
Thank you! You too!🥰
10:16 you can get these Horns in far back corner in the Boating section at Walmart 🎉
Good to know!!!😎
I guess my “spider sense” is pretty well developed after decades of living in marginal or transitional neighborhoods and often walking home at night. Now, I’m glad that my very large pup considers herself to be a guardian dog!
That’s true! I’m sure it is. And glad your dog will guard you too😊
Great info 7:10 if you back into a spot so your nose is pointing out for a quick exit pull Florida a little bit so if somebody does block your nose, you can back up some, and possibly go around them by then pulling forward.
Good suggestion 💪🏼👍🏼🙌🏼
Good video very helpful.
Glad it was helpful 😊
Great content, thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks, good ideas as usual
Glad you like them!☺️
Another great video with fantastic tips. Thanks, Dee. 😊
Thanks for making it a part of your day! Hope you are well 🥰
7:28 This is something I’d never considered, but it’s such a great point about backing into a vehicle blocking your path instead of head on!
Yes, if you have airbags it is even more of an issue 😝
@@LadyBugout true!!! I don’t have airbags in my van, so I’ve never considered it. But I didn’t even consider it in my daily car that does have airbags!
I like how you think things through😇
I appreciate that!💪🏼
0:44 Before I continue watching, I just wanted to say how awesome that editing is with the music. 🤌❤
Thank you Coralie! 😎
All good ideas, especially the elegant, see-through sleeves that make you look quite dangerous.
I’m Australian and know you can be in danger hundreds of miles from any people, there are some places I just wouldn’t go. People remain your greatest danger and people are also your greatest saviour, birds of a feather should flock together. Dingoes are always looking for the easy meal,so don’t make yourself an easy target. Listen to yourself, it’s the beauty of being mobile, if you feel uneasy for what ever reason don’t hesitate to leave, you can always have a laugh about it later . You also unlike us Aussies 🦘🐨 is you have the second amendment, don’t be scared of being trained up and be for ever ready. My experience is that the training is great fun and you will meet a lot of incredibly lovely people that are more interested in protecting their loved ones more than anything else . You truly have to be unlucky to require anything in the way of protection but being prepared will always make you stronger. Stay strong, happy travels ❤️❤️😎😇🙏🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺
Thanks for sharing that information. Be careful out there. 🤗
Great video Knowledge is power. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels.
Thanks, you too!☺️
Good girl! 💪
Thanks!!!
Good tips! It’s always easier to avoid trouble, then have to deal with it.
So true! 💪🏼
That comment pinned at the top seem to come out of nowhere. I found it very shocking and untrue. Good thing I don't have a YT channel! I hope your skin is thicker than mine! Hugs!❤
Hahahah thank you for that kindness. Yes, very thick skin 😝
Ok! I jumped in way too soon! Lol! So… the airbag situation may be a problem for me now.
There was a way he circumvented that. I just can’t remember. Maybe worth a call to someone with experience with that ???
As a retired military member (and solo female traveler), I can concur that situational awareness is the number #1 way to remain safe. And number #2 would be to trust your gut.
Great point #2 so true!
Thank you for the reinforcement ☺️
What year is your van?
It is a 2010.
I am about to remove my passenger seat from my van! I am so glad I saw this, especially about the wires and such! Gotta save it!
Glad it was helpful!!!😊
All good tips Dee, and it is just smart to review these safety tips on a regular basis. It is the world in which we live, and although most people are good, it only takes a few bad ones to ruin things for everyone. But you do have to balance fear levels so that you can go out and enjoy life. I think you have a healthy balance Dee, thanks for sharing and have a great week! 🥰
That is so true. Yes, striking a good balance is key!!!
Great job Dee. And all from your real world experience.
You’re welcome! 💃🏻💪🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for these reminders. ❤
Any time! 🤗
All great ideas.
Thank you. ☺️
I used to work at a club close very to home and finish work late at night. I used to walk home and hold my keys with a key in between each finger, hanging out near my knuckles. A female, no matter how strong, could cause pain to a strong man with one strike to give you enough time to run and escape. I have lived through many life-threatening situations, and each time, i never woke up in the morning, expecting that my day would end that way. Always be prepared as you never know and listen to your gut instinct. Your natural alarm system. ❤
Great advice! Thank you 🙌🏼💃🏻💪🏼

I wonder if you’ve ever had to take another person to get gas, or someone who needed help, can they sit in back without a seat belt, or have you had that situation?
I decided that I would not likely have another passenger. And yes, if need be, I could have someone sit in back without a seatbelt-but that would have to be for either an emergency situation or for very short distance not on a highway.
Great tips.. good reminders so we don't get complacent. thanks Dee.
You bet!☺️
Also, check if there is cell service beforehand, where you want to go.
Yes!!!!!!!! Super important. 🤗
Well organized.
Thank you! 😊
I’m grateful that I don’t have to fuss w my hair, either. I’ve not had a hair dresser, and I don’t color mine. At 66, mine is still not totally gray, it hides underneath, and you can only see it when it’s up, which is rare, except hot summer days outside… You are fortunate, too. My hair just doesn’t get that dirty, unless I’m outside a lot and it’s super windy and dusty or I’ve been doing a lot of landscaping… thanks again for thorough and helpful tips and sharing all of your routines, cooking and everything! You’re so generous and really knowledgeable
I appreciate your feedback and encouragement! Thank you for being here😊
I enjoyed your video; very thorough. Thank you and God Bless
Glad you enjoyed it!💃🏻
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work! You are so gorgeous!
Thank you so much!! 😊
Awesome one again! Thank you Dee! You are always here for us! Love ya!
You are so welcome, Rita!😊
Very informative and helpful information, thanks Dee. Another tip is to set up a chat group on your phone with your emergency contacts and post whenever you leave & arrive at a location. It helps to keep a few people in the loop of your plans because they often chance when on the travellers road.
That's a great idea! Thanks for the suggestion 🤗🙌🏼💪🏼
